Thats because you extracted something you should not have
You have extracted the CD Image
After I download it what should I do? Thanks for the help by the way.
ok what file/s did you have after the download
P.S. I have never downloaded Sega CD games from this site myself so I just don't know
Thanks man for the help I think i figured it out
Hold up after it loads it says RAM cartridge is notinitialized
Use options screen to initialize RAM cartridge
Read the FAQ that was linked before I covered that there ;)
Im not understanding how to get the background music to work.
Name the files as described in the FAQ, all files should be named the same apart from the extention (Don't change that part of the file names) and the track number that is added to the 2nd track onward.
Edit:- Not having these named correctly will make some games crash aswell as not having music, please read the guide carefully it does have the answers to most of your Q's so far
couldnt make a new thread:
i really hate to post this (makes me look like a retard), but i spent 15 - 30 mins trying to figure out how to download a PSone *.iso file with no sucess. i click on the cd.iso file link, then it brings up the "click this link and vote, then click this link and download" page, so i open up the vote thing, i click the 'vote for this site' button, then i continue to the download page. this is the download page im stuck at. it says to "click on the link above to see the sponsor below"..... i see no "link above".... am i missing something? any kind of popup or what not, i have all kinds of anti popup and those kinds of programs.
Between
step [1] and 1. click the Link above, is were you should click, the link is not visable though for some reason
step [1]
- <- that should be the link
1. click the Link above
is that like its being worked on? i dont see any link on any of the PSone iso download links that i looked at :sigh:Quote:

or just use our bittorrent DL's instead at http://208.37.28.56:6969/
maybe i just wasnt clear enough... there is no 'link above'. no hyphen or anything inbetween the "Step [1]" and the "1. Click on the Link above to see the sponsor below..." lines... space... deep blue... nothing. does the fact that i have norton internet security, a few firewalls, and some pop-up blocking programs have anything to do with it? if not, is it possible that i can get a link to this sponsor and have it work like that?Quote:

Let me check the page myself...
...right, I'm having no problems. Make sure your browser is enabled to display images, or something. I dunno, but it's difenitly a problem on your end, not the site.
We have a bittorrent forum section aswell I'm sure they put up a guide that you can follow on how to download bittorrents.
yeah the site downloads are working fine for me aswell and have no idea why they wouldn't for you, and I have images blocked
ok, i found out what it was: Norton internet security
no idea why it blocked the link/image, but it displays after i disable NIS and reload the page. heh, figured that was the problem after you two said it was my end. thnx for the help guys =)
i just got done downloading the first cd of xenogears only to find out that when i try to extract it it gives me lots of errors =(

I got a little question...
I downloaded the "Final Fantasy Origins" archives, and I Install them...the problem is that the file comes in a MDF format and my emulator (ePSXe), does not recognize that kind of archive...What can I do??
when you "open iso" get it to read all types of files it should play the mdf.Quote:

thnx in advance
You can use alcohol 120% or iso buster to change the bin file. if you want too test it, you can use a virtual drive like daemon tools.Quote:

ok, i already had IsoBuster, but i only used it once (to get a PC game off the net, but it didnt install correctly... *shrug*), so i have no idea how to do this. i looked in the help file, but i either didnt find what i was looking for, or didnt understand it (what i read i didnt really understand ^_^;; ). ie: could i get a bit-o-help from you profesionals please?
I'm not too well up on isobuster but if you want to change your bin & cue file using Daemon tools mount your cue file in the virtual drive and use alcohol to make an image, when it asks you want to make I think depending on the type of cd you select you can make clone cd files (img, cdd sub & cue) Iso, and mdf, mds.Quote:
