Did you get my Private Message I sent you?
Wow, I'm surprised nobody in the entire thread mentioned FileZilla. It's my favorite FTP suite.
http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/
Is there a password I need to supply to download files ISO's off this site? I am trying to use FlashFXP, but it it always fials and says I need a password.
Heres what it does:
R] Connecting to www.emuparadise.org -> DNS=www.emuparadise.org IP=207.44.214.54 PORT=21 (attempt # 1)
[R] Connected to www.emuparadise.org
[R] 220 EmuParadise FTP Server Ready
[R] USER anonymous
[R] 331 Password required for anonymous.
[R] PASS (hidden)
[R] 530 Login incorrect.
I just can't get it to work. Any thoughts?
Check your other thread about CuteFTP:

My privite ftp site refuses to connect from any computer but the server. Im using guild ftp and no-ip (dial-up connection) on port 21 without a router. The exact message in filezilla is
Status: Connecting to twelvegauge.serveftp.com ...
Error: Unable to connect!
Status: Waiting to retry... (5 retries left)
Status: Connecting to twelvegauge.serveftp.com ...
what to do?
You have dial-up, so your IP changes every time you connect, so your no-ip address most likely points to wrong IP. For changing IP address, I'd suggest dyndns.org. As the name says, it is dynamic DNS provider and you can download a little software to your computer that automatically updates the new IP address to the DNS entry.
I think that is the problem.
i downloaded a program from no-ip's site that (i think) checks the current ip address and uses that one. when i open the program the ip address it displays is the same as the one I get when I check my ip in guild ftp.
my father just told me on the way home form shcool (where i was testing) that he had shutdown guild ftp and the no-ip program. He has no idea when so I dont know if this was the problem or not...
Can someone test it for me?

I'm new to using FTP...meaning I've never used it ever before. I downloaded both SmartFTP and CuteFTP, but I don't know how to use either of them. I'd like to download the Chrono Chross PSX Iso, but need assistance with this. Can anyone help please?
You're trying to download Chrono Cross from EmuParadise aren't you?
Well, you can't use an FTP client to download from Emuparadise anymore.
That's how it used to be done--I remember about 2 years ago getting Mega Man X5 from here using SmartFTP.
But now, you have to use your browser and download them the way you normally download from other sites.
I don't think you can even use download managers, like DAP, to download roms and ISO's from here anymore either.
I know that you could use download managers in the past, since I used DAP to get some roms from here. But that was a long time ago too.
But I know you can download Chrono Cross using your browser.
I downloaded the ROM, started it up, it goes through the opening music, I enter the start button to start a new game, I turn off vibration, then I get a blank screen. What am I doing wrong?
Well you're asking in a wrong section :lolQuote:

As for your question. I suspect that the CD image may be
corrupted. If you're playing it in ePSXe 1.5.2 from CD-ROM or
as ISO from virtual drive everything should be fine.
I get my copy from my friend's original version and I get through the
entire game without single problem.
I have even posted memcard savestate to this game in "Everything Emulation" forum with "New Game+" and "Continue+" option ;)
This should do it:Quote:

In order to connect to emuparadise.org with a FTP client, I require the username and password. Could anyone provide me with this information?
Anyone know of a good step by step guide to help me out with bulletproof ftp server.
Would be of great help.
