man I'm wanting to watch some law&order or miami vice some A-team and magnum pi and maybe some gilligans island. I love old tv shows(some more "modern" ones) that's really the only thing I miss about having tv
it's too bad I haven't had luck finding the old stuff on a tracker site that wasn't private invite only.
The A-Team is great :) Watched that religiously as a kid.
Just finished watching all the eps again fairly recently.
Also, MacGyver.
There are torrents with public trackers for those but I think the A-Team has some bad rips from VCD source (only some eps, vast majority are ok).
They aren't small torrents.
Been doing a run of Mash on and off for awhile myself. Good stuff, especially the "no canned laughter" version.
Almost done season 6.
I remember watching MacGyver as a kid, my parents watched that shit all the time. A-Team is a classic as well.
I need to clear some hdd space.
Probably better value going for a 2TB or higher. Unless you can find 500GB dirt cheap on sale somewhere...but from what I've seen it's usually 2TB atm.
I'm talking about ext powered HDDs, not USB powered.
Smallest ext I have is 1TB, I've had several of them for many years now. Largest atm is 3TB but I've been thinking about getting a 5TB as I've started using the 3TB via my tv for large 1080p video dumps.
Weeeeeeeee!
Time for some beers and try out this RE6 I picked up for 5 bucks!!! Yay!
Did you see RE ORC cheap? You should get that too...:awesome:Spoiler warning:
There are unofficial servers for Outbreak now iirc. But I think you need the Japanese versions (they can be English patched afaik).
Unfortunately can't connect wired. My apartment is almost right above the building office and I know the password  so just wifi.
Think there's unofficial servers for FFXI too! I got rid of that though but again can't connect anyway. Re Outbreak is one of the very few games that can be installed though so yeah wanna give it a ago. Can't imagine it would be very expensive - hard to find maybe though.
Ext powered have always been more reliable overall. With USB powered the interface can die before the actual HDD does...yes I do know from personal experience and it can happen with quality HDD types (pretty much all my stuff is WD but I do have a Seagate).
Honestly if you're only going to use this at home (or somewhere else with mains power) then ext powered is best also because it's slightly cheaper.
Current WD Elements ext powered vertical types have a power button at the back. So you can leave it plugged in via USB and have it turned off when not actually using it...this can increase drive lifespan 'cos it isn't idling when connected.
Ya know, I've really kicked back on the beer intake this year (yay New Year resolutions) and just cracked another and counted the empty cans and I'm already on number 8.
Shit.
damn didn't realize it was this late I gotta get my ass ready for bed later guys:bed:
Yes I have. Quite the enjoyable one.
Still prefer the Diddy Kong Racing for N64.
Ahh them golden days :)
