What was the price point before dropping on Amazon UK?
200 USD would be a great price point for the 160GB slim. Would make it much more affordable especially used for people with less money.
I say you still have a lot of time to decide. I like to wait some time after a new console launches to see if there are any hardware issues or games that interest me.
As for Smash Bros, I'm definitely not going for a handheld when I know I can experience it on home console. However, the one thing I would really like to know at E3 this year about Smash Bros is what can I use to play it? Since GameCube games and peripherals are not compatible with Wii U, I hope the control scheme is Wii Mote only. If it is on Wii U's tablet, I hope getting extra tablets isn't too expensive.
I think the Wii U will be awesome, the Miiverse is looking cool.
Is your body ready EPF?
I'd be shocked if they came up with an original game. I'm really disappointed in Nintendo at this point.
So far I'm ok what what Nintendo's shown so far based on the streams. The Wii U Pro controller interests me as I want to see how it feels. It doesn't look comfortable at first but I'm sure they thought of something. I hope that if more fighting games come to the Wii U, that a suitable wired controller can be made for it by Nintendo.
Also, I'm glad they put real thumbsticks on the Wii U tablet. I was afraid I would get cramps using the slide pad all the time (although it is still a great thing on the 3DS).
Correct me if I'm wrong, does this mean that with the Wii U and the Wii U tablet, I don't need a TV to play it? I can just play my games on my tablet? If it is true, then my hype scale for the system could go over 9000.
This E3 has been somewhat interesting. I'm seeing a lot of games on display. I'm also impressed with what has beens how about the Wii U so far. Still I wonder how expensive it will be. I mean a high-def screen on the controller. Those controllers will probably be pretty pricey. I mean it seems like the Wii U controller is a portable Wii U itself. Also, I was impressed with The Last of Us, the gameplay looks awesome. Resident Evil 6 looks decent. God of War: Acesion also looks good.
This was a rather underwhelming E3....
The more I watch E3 each year, the more I miss Sega leaving the hardware business
