Touche. You have a point. But why must this god deny us pleasure, yet he himself can partake of it of his own free will? We should be equals, yet he treats us as children, in fact less than children. As far as pleasure. I believe (as it was stated in the Bible) we were created to worship God, and if we live a life doing just that, we are rewarded with absolutely everything we will ever desire...in heaven.

Finally some one who has some sense about this shit.

All my school friends insist on trying to force their religion on me. It gets so annoying.

I'm going to start carrying around the first 10 ammendmants and when some one trys to do that too me bust it out and tell them if they don't leave me alone I'm going to sue their ass.

i think there is only one god...just that the reason there are mulitple vision of different gods out there is because that one god takes up very different forms of himself...therefore he seems like more then one god...

I found god in a paper napkin that someone left at Subway (Eat Fresh!). We talked about Gays, abortion, killing, and a lot of other stuff. Then he slapped me and called me unclean. :sad-no:

Yes, but if there is no god, there is no pleasure. Why must god require that we follow it in the hopes that we will enjoy this promised pleasure without any proof that it even exists? I see proof that if I read the Koran 24/7 for 5 years and spend all my free time helping people that it will pay off. I live here in the real world, where I enjoy my life. Besides, this god gives you life and then expects it to be spent on him, with your happiness pushed to the side? That seems a little unreasonable and no longer makes life a "gift" but more of a "punishment" if you ask me.

EDIT- and of course we are all entitled to our own opinion. I just think it's okay to get some debate going on these issues. I think anyone that can find a religion that makes them happy is fine, I just don't condone people who blindly follow (not talking about you Sprung, just saying that some people believe simple because they have been taught to follow god from a young age, I think that's wrong since impressionable children should be allowed to make their own choices and shape thier own beliefs.).
