Revolution controller revealed.

I heard about this somewhere else but I love it so much.... I just cant stop thinking "Duck Hunt"

I aint gonna lie that controller is ugly and its a good idea in all but I dont like the idea of having to play games on one hand

Well there is that add on thing to make it look like nunchucks. I keep thinking what Super Smash is going to be like with that....Gonna be impossible to control. And think of the swordplay in the new Zelda games. You'll actually have to get up and MOVE.

IGN does not seem to think that this controller limites game play at all...

considering the current society in the US, N is probably gonna get sued for this controller. I can see it now:

'I was playing a star wars game, and the only way to block the next attack was to swing upwards, which caused the remote to hit the temple of my brother.' or something to that extent.

Also, I watched the vid of the controller's unveiling at TGS. They basically show a bunch of scenes where the controller is being used. In one, the two guys are sitting on a couch, swinging the controller all over the place, and their controllers are getting in eachothers way. Image playing a four-player game. You'll either have no fun, or have to have one person all the way at the controllers max range, which is also no fun.

While I'm not saying this controller will die, as i haven't played it yet, my hopes were much higher.

looks like a gimmick to sell consoles to me. i guess that is what nintendo has sunk to. :(

kinda reminds me of holographic arcade games from the late 1980's. seemingly cool idea but once you played a couple of times you realize it is just crap.

give me a ps2 dual shock controller anyday! :)

I'm sorry. I already have a remote control so you lose Nintendo. Good try though.
