Oh, I was under the impression that it was solely for you. Otherwise it's not that bad.
That old computer doesn't sound too bad...my parents have like a 200 mHz 6 gig like 64 megs of ram, it's like 6 years old and pretty pathetic ^_^

I am looking forward for a PS2 for my christmas present. Hopefully my friends or parents will give me that. :)
My parents asked me what I wanted this year but I don't want anything , I earn my own money ( I earn more money then an adult most of the time) so I decided that I give my parents something this year , I bought a Gamecube for my little brother ( it is still here in the closet so don't tell him anything :P)
I still need to figure out what I will buy for my parents but I think that I will come up with something :D
What job do you have?Quote:

Wine is always good, but not really an original or thoughtful present anymore.
Christmas is lame. I really don't ask for things anymore... I usually just get clothes and money (stuff I need).
Well seing as this is my last year to get a few presents i thought id get some nice stuff. A couple of CDs and DVDs and a personal CD player. Should be a good christmas :) Plus i love the holiday atmosphere...
I just want money, and a few PS2 games, I'm hoping to get a new HD with the money I get
That's what I mean :P I don't really care about presents, but I like to see my little brother enjoying it, it's nice in a way ^^ Kind of takes me back :PQuote:

For Xmas my family and all my local relatives get together. I enjoy that.
The most detrimental aspect to the ruining of my enjoyment of Christmas is the fact that I will be working right up till Christmas Eve, have two days off and be back for the day after Boxing Day. Thats the ***** about working in retail, the fact that you get next to ****-all holiday time. Sorry for the lack of context for this post, but I have only just read DJ's post about working and it made me think a little bit about the Xmas scenario for those employed in retail.
Ever notice what you take out of Christmas by calling it Xmas? CHRIST! That just really proves the fact that people have forgotten the original meaning.
Let me remind you again that I'm athiest.
