Kinda looking forward to this Wayword Pines show. Looks to have a Twin Peaks vibe.

I suspect the main reason it hasn’t been funded is those reward tiers are confusing as hell. It looks like you can get the unit with four (or maybe three?) cables of your choice for $35, but directly above they’re asking $35 for four cables only, then above that they’re asking $35 for the unit and “four a-like cables,” whatever they’re supposed to be.

It's a great idea but I'm sorry, the project page itself is atrocious.

And then further down the page they're asking $45 for the unit, four cables and a USB cable.

So another $10 for a bog standard USB cable.

Yeah, like I posted before, $58 and up is when it's actually useful. In that you get the hub, USB cable, and 10 cables of ANY type. The tier above is for only four cables of the same kind.

Tbh I doubt they're making much profit on it. It's always going to be a niche product and if they need $75k to get it manufactured I think it simply may be too complicated and expensive for what it is, especially on the small scale they're looking at. The idea of having everything in one box is awesome but realistically how many people are going to use or even have access to Pippin, Jaguar or Virtual Boy controllers?

Cooking pot roast for the first time. It would of been less frustrating if the Pot Roast wasn't larger than my crock-pot. Cutting the meat in half to cook it, then to refreeze the other half, I had to cut the half into a half just to freeze it.

Get a American sized crock pot instead of of a Japanese one? :thot:

I've been nomming on roast the past few days actually.

Roast is yummy. Takes forever to cook though and with some it really isn't worth the time it takes.

Mashed potatoes are super easy; just peel and square the potatoes, boil for ~15 minutes, add some butter and a little milk, and mash the shit out of em. Next time you do roast save the drippings if you can, they make an excellent gravy to go with both :)
