Urban Chaos for the PC, and Castlevania for the NES
Started Siren.
Great atmosphere and it's held up well. Only problem is pretty awful voice acting.
god of war collection. Almost done the first GoW, but i still need to do a speed run.
Final Fantasy 1 and 2 on my PSP, sure the re-releases have these weird faux 16-bit/RPG Maker graphics and it's a cheap cash-in (which I didn't pay for :P), but I like these versions the most honestly. They have fixed a lot of problems with the original and make it more accessible, probably would have been appreciated more a long time ago though.
Still pretty fun though, can't wait till Corpse Party gets a US release later this year, my PSP is gonna get a lot of use.
Been playing a lot of Dark Souls as of late. Loving it so far.
There's music for like 1% of the game.
Maybe half of that 1% contains chanting.
(And since the boss fights are so laughably easy this time around you likely won't have to rehear the same song again right away)
doom 2 on skulltag with the all out war mod a good team fortress 2 style game with the doom engine
Well, no wonder. I'm not even there yet. Either that or my own music is too loud.
I might have to start playing with DS music on. I'm missing out.
Or just turn it on during big boss fights.
Gwyn's theme is so good, though I was bit disappointed with him as a boss.
Same.
He actually has less HP than the enemies in his level. He doesn't get much harder in NG+ either.
The fight essentially consisted of me riposting him then taking off 3/4 of his health bar, followed by a phantom I brought along running him through with a Zweihander when he got back up. But still, that theme music.
But hey, it's just another example of "idea blatantly lifted from Demon's Souls". Seeing as the final boss there was a joke. And the other fight they're sorta mimicking was his earlier doppleganger who had an awesome theme.
That was actually my biggest disappointment with Gwyn, the fact that you could literally parry him to death. And he is so aggressive that it kinda difficult to miss a parry opportunity. In total it probably lasted about 1:30 for me. I feel like once you dealt with Smough and Ornstein it was kinda downhill as far as the boss battles go.
That being said though, NG+ Four Kings fucked my life up. I was unprepared for the buffs they got.
I think it took me a matter of about 30 seconds. Most of which was waiting for animations to complete. Clearly I should not have spent so much time invading/being invaded/assisting. So many souls. So much levelling.
I'd largely agree except for Ceaseless Discharge (because I was stupid and didn't realize he was a puzzle boss if you do it the right way) and potentially Seeth if you don't have a high curse resistance.
I found NG+ 4 Kings to be just as simple. But then again, I've been known to whip out Great Chaos Fireball and the Moonlight Shield. And I was packing a +10 Fire Greataxe. So there's that.
I can see Ceaseless being a bit difficult if you don't cheese him using that adjacent corridor, though Seath, even with being able to curse you the only thing you really need to watch out for is the AoE attack. It took me longer than I care to admit to figure out you need to hit the TOP of his tail to break it off. You know, he turns surprisingly for his distinct lack of legs.
But yeah, I rolled up on NG+ Four Kings with the weapons and armor I had from originally beating the game. I think it was just vanilla Black Knight Armor, and the Great Sword of Artorais. So they were just taking off SWATHS of my health until they just gang banged me to death. Good times.
Xenoblade Chronicles.
Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. Shouldn't have played it.... It got me hooked. Damn you Dead Rising.
Right now im replaying the Persona games. On 3 FES right now, there so much fun and have a great story aswell. Im also looking into other jrpgs similar to Persona series for either ps2 or gamecube, any recommendations would be sweet :D
Playing Bastion on steam. It's one of the best games I've played in a long time.
Renegade Ops was finally released on Steam today, having a blast with it in co-op.
Also, Nanashi no Game. I'll wait with the final judgement after I've beaten it, but... well, so far it's pretty cool, but not as good as I'd hoped.
:platinum: Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, never will I play Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine EVER AGAIN.

Uncharted 3
The release in EU is tomorrow. Guess there's been some kind of mix-up because I got mine today, and I love it!!
Howie has been playing it for a couple of days now, still waiting mine :(
I don't know if I should get it.
Does it have an online pass? 'Cause I could trade in a load of games at CEX and get it used...
