Whatever the case may be it's dumb . It isn't limited to games either. For example, there are listings parts listings for e-readers up for more than a working unit goes for.

Think I got a mild case of carppel tunnel syndrome.
Wrist pain?
If it's persistent you might get it checked out. If not you can probably improve things by making sure you support your arms and wrists (palms?).

Queue the masturbation jokes???
:revwacko:
:toss:
The pain is gone. I think you'd have to really go at it to get carppel tunnel from masturbating :P
:lol
x360 Modern Warfare 2 console arrived, jasper as I expected. Bare console but I already had the right PSU and it has tested fine :)
The other Saturn arrived too but I'll check that out another day (maybe the weekend). Looks clean... well except for the broken switch and obviously the back cover is missing.
I'm left-handed, but I use the mouse with my right.
kinda pissed today I ordered 2 usb cables over a week ago both were supposed to be here monday but I got 1 on sat the other still hasn't got here even after the arrival date got changed to wed. the last tracking update I got was for monday it was last in OH somewhere.
on a positive note I've been playing shadow op red mercury for a couple days now. I didn't know atari made(or published) any fps games, it's proving to be better than soldier of fortune so far. the game is a little buggy(I haven't encountered anything game breaking yet) mostly just getting stuck on objects when crouched.
I wish it would have had a quick save or even just a save feature the game only saves at the beginning of a level, levels are usually broken up into 2 or more parts.
Got some more junk for pocket change :pwacko:
Spoiler warning:
finished shadow ops today. pretty good game but I did run into a nearly game breaking bug I had to restart one level 3 times. at a certain point in the level you get to a courtyard where you have to destroy 2 apcs with an rpg problem is only 1 of the 2 apcs were spawning on my 3rd and final restart of the level I spotted the apc that wasn't spawning properly.
aside from that I didn't run into anymore serious bugs. now to see if I can get codename outbreak working.
Having a look at the other Saturn I got recently.
Pulled the switch apart and glued the plastic bit back together, just letting it set for a while.
Just in case I need to replace it completely I went looking through parts bins and found a near identical switch (probably from a 90's PC case). I would need to solder swap over the cable/plug and what I think is a thermistor (I haven't really checked what is printed on it tbh) but the switch itself appears to be the same spec as the original.
Switch glued together is holding. But the switch is always on like it was before, I suspected this might be the outcome since the flat bit of metal inside the switch didn't seem to be functioning correctly.
Guess I'll try out the spare switch I found, but I'll have to put this project off for another day as I've got chores to do now plus organise dinner and some lunch for work tomorrow
The console does work fine though, it booted Biohazard no problem.
Change of plan... I've got the day off tomorrow.
