any of you guys ever play either of the vampire masquerade games?
any of you guys ever play either of the vampire masquerade games?
Nope.
no I just haven't gotten to it yet. I started playing blood(and finished it) then went on to blood 2 and I'm still playing morrowind a bit(my interest has gone down on it)
is it any good? or is it gay vampires doing vampire shit?
I enjoyed it, especially the ending I got. The combat is a little clunky but it's serviceable and there's a good deal of flexibility in how you can handle everything. I don't remember any sparkly sodomite vampires .
Do you like isometric RPGs? I thought Underrail was a lot of fun once I got going in it.
Gay vampires doing big shits... and then eating it
Morrowind requires commitment to finish the main quest.
Add some mods if you think something is lacking, there are plenty.
the first one didn't look all that good but bloodlines did so I might add that to my list
not really but that one doesn't look too bad.
I stopped doing the main quest and hadn't gone back to it yet I've mostly been doing fighters guild quests and legion quests and some exploring. I'm actually stuck with the fighters guild because I can't advance anymore(not sure why)in balmora so I took a quest from alhd run
so now I'm kinda stuck on that one. I have to escort somone through a dungeon to kill a necromancer but the dungeon is filled with tough enemies like skeleton champs.
I enjoy being able to roam when there isn't lame-o level scaling to suck the joy out of it.
I have arcanum which is something I've wanted to check out for the longest time now(hopefully it'll work this time now that i got gothic running) I have another game on my list which I forgot the name of which seems similar to underrail and fallout.
which reminds me I have fallout 2 backed up I just can't remember if it was the disk version or the rip version(which doesn't work right)
You might need some patches for Arcanum but you should be able to get it to run.
now I remember the name of that one game it's restricted area
Daggerfall.
Arx Fatalis.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic & II (The Sith Lords).
The original games.
the only games that weren't working were 2 of the 3 redneck rampage games(1st and 3rd ones) but I lost interest in playing them after seeing the intro on 2.
anyway arcanum is working great though I probably should have started with a melee user instead of a gun.
never played daggerfall but I think I played arx if it's the one I think it is I stopped playing it cause the magic casting system was fucking stupid
played the first but didn't care for it like many star wars games there's too much focus on jedi and sith.
Daggerfall is Elder Scrolls II.
There's a GoG version without DRM.
Yeah Arx Fatalis has annoying magic controls :lol
Jade Empire is a BioWare game from around the same time as KotoR.
There's a PC version.
BioWare made Mass Effect sometime later.
Jade Empire is kinda Chinese lore type rpg but more action really.
finally got through that quest in morrowind although the enemies respawned(even though according to the guide they weren't supposed to)
Oh I'm not talking about the little nooks on the tunnel, afaik everything you get from the tunnel is considered junk and a waste of time. I think you're supposed to speedrun the tunnel?
The open part could be considered kinda like Termia Field in Zelda OoT, just way bigger. So a large central point, and surrounded by tunnels in all directions with branching tunnels, which take ?? to explore, and might have the best weapons in the game, or something?
Oh. Well I have no idea about that yet. I assume that their are ultimate weapons and such though, I mean it is Final Fantasy after all and that's pretty much a staple by now. It's a weak game but airing things out here and curiosity is making me continue to play it lol. I dunno what's going to happen but being forced to switch characters all the time and the stupid paradigm and crystarium systems is starting to piss me off. Not to mention cut-scenes every five minutes. Which of course I skip is making the linearity of the game seem less annoying. 12 is soooo much better it blows my mind they regressed to such twaddle for this game.
As per Grouches comment recently, I actually started to enjoy Lightning Returns which is part 3??? My PC just couldn't keep up (tried it years ago and made it pretty far) with it though but it should hit GP at some point and I'll try again. Only thing I really hate about that is the time constraints (13 days or whatever in game to finish it) Reason why I didn't like Majoras Mask, even though you can restart or something when you reach the end but not to clear on that.
I've enjoyed most games from 6 onwards except for this and 8 which ranks even below 13 for me. Not counting the online crap like 11 and 14 of course.
Cole Phelps is a cop :lol
 :bore:
started to kinda get into arcanum yesterday but I kinda trapped myself in the first town. I have to either pay 1000 gold to a group of bandits just to cross the bride and leave or I have to somehow kill them(I can't help them and get a free pass since I sided with the townspeople)
KILL EM ALL!
:revwacko:
ugh spent hours in arcanum trying to find a way around the river because according to the ingame map there is a way around the river(to the north and south) however when you travel all the way to these spots you find yourself surrounded by impassable mountains.
