The forum poster that spread the "news" just edited an IGN article about MGS2: Substance. And the top of the crop is that one of the editors at Super Play responded to him in the very thread that spread the rumor. Awesome. :wacko:

Seriously the rumor spreading that MGS4 is heading to 360 is so pathetic it gets hilarious. Every week new rumors of a MGS4 port shows up all over the net. And the funny part is that they are not based on anything that can be even remotely called proof. Two weeks ago the "confirmation" of a port could be read here and there after people successfully spinned the words of Ryan Payton, when he carefully explained the fact that currently MGS4 is a PS3 exclusive. It's laughable. :lol
Don't get me wrong though, I do in fact think that a port just might turn up someday. But it is known as a fact that Kojima Productions are not developing two versions at the same time. So if a port sees the daylight it will most likely be as the "special edition" (Substance, Subsistence). And that's probably a year or something after the actual MGS4 release.
So long post short, until Kojima Productions confirms that Metal Gear Solid 4 will also be released for Xbox 360, the game remains a PS3 exclusive.
