The Jazz Out: 4000 Posts of Holo to Lure Him Back

so I spent some time looking into those cheap android boxes I was looking at to see if they're compatible with core-elec but they weren't listed on the compatibility list. I did look up some that were on the list but they're out of my price range and none of the have a/v out only hdmi so that won't work for me.
I ended up getting the usb cable I need to try and run my new external hdd on my current media player. I tried to find some user reviews for those cheap boxes but I only found a few(most were "professional" reviews) and none of them mentioned the media playback just apps streaming and gaming. the reviews all seem to say they're ok to good not great bad or terrible(other than the remote).
I'd still like to see actual user feedback on the media player function before considering one as a last resort.

Anyone get a hold of Jazzyjazzerson?

He no longer has a desktop so I've posted it up elsewhere :booger:.

Any of you are welcome to it, it's a GTX 980. It runs okay on idle but it crashes the second there's load. Probably not worthwhile unless you can repair yourself and it's cheap.

The new Windows 11 update added tabs to notepad. On top of that with WSL/g you can run graphical linux apps. Of course you could do with certain builds of Windows 10. You can run graphical linux apps by default in WSL on Windows 11.

Those shows are more serious and not comedy WW2 shows like McHale's Navy, Hogan's Heroes etc.
Although Black Sheep I seem to recall had some stuff that made me laugh...

Snapped up another Japanese Saturn HST-3210 :) This one has a cleaner looking shell but needs power switch fixed (physically broken but all bits are there) plus it's missing the rear compartment cover. Still working though. Heaps cheaper than my current console.

Also got an x360 MW2 console on the way that was dirt cheap. May or may not be working... but worse case I can recycle the shell as I have a fully working elite here.

Anyone ever seen the Joytech smart card adapter for PSX? Takes memory cards (1mb I think?) that basically look like the original sim cards used in early mobile phones (credit card size).
I've seen pics of the Dino Crisis 2 card that was available for this adapter, but just wondering if anyone has seen other themed cards...

I've seen broken switches before for that model so it isn't that uncommon. It's Japanese and early oval.

i used to watch hogans heroes I've watched mchaels navy a few times(when there was nothing else on when I wasn't sleeping)

The adapters are easier to find than the actual cards, at least over here anyway. So I was thinking I might keep an eye out for one... just curious more than anything :wacko:

You might be able to format one with MC Annilhilator (PSX-Place). If that didn't work you could maybe image a proper card and try that on a blank SC.

I see that way too often anymore. people think that because it's old it "MUST" be valuable regardless of condition. you can thank those auction houses that have been selling gaming shit for ridiculous prices for that.

It's been like this for a while. I think morons paying more than a few dollars for broken junk is the biggest issue.
