Pretty standard garage sale pricing. I would love to go back in time and buy some of this stuff that has gotten ridiculous now, just so I don't have to drop a couple grand on them now. But I think I would have to invest pretty heavily in time travel, which kind of makes it a moot point.

I've heard of people who have done that with their collections. They collect games through their late-teens/early-20s, then get married, sell off most of their collection and use the money to put a hefty down payment on a house. Makes sense, especially if you're not actively collecting anymore.

Yeah I mean, I got back into Magic and then cashed out. It was still pretty profitable but the cards I had before had some insane value and were mostly irreplaceable at the time they were destroyed in terms of what I paid for them originally.
