:lol We'll find out come E3 this year. I'm pretty hyped! I mean if the GameCube Virtual console is real, I'd die. Oh man!
Yes YGO is funny, 5Ds is decent , it gets stupid with ZeXal....
They were just riding them in that, just a funny moment in the Abridged movie.
If you watched until the funny part you woulda got a chuckle
Whatever you say gobby.
I'd guess X, Bayonetta and that Shin Megami thing.... you really think X will actually come out though? They've been so tight lipped about that game I find it hard to believe it's almost finished.
That was actually more meant for Roxas - I pretty much know what you're after. Roxas could possibly be creaming over Barbie Horse Adventure or something, so it's a valid question
Oh I think that list is bullshit, guess I should have made that clear.
SMT vs and X though. Those are the two Wii U games I want 100%. Whenever they come out.
Again, we don't know if the list is even real or not. But it would be nice if it was. It's not that lackluster...I know you guys don't like Nintendo as much as I do but okay.
I like Nintendo. Flava is a hater that's all.
Lol
The Wii and Wii U to me are just complete pieces of shit. However, I don't "hate" Nintendo itself - they've made some great stuff in the past, and the Snes is still my favorite console of all time.
But yes, they've been on my shit list for many years though, starting somewhere around the Gamecube time period.
EDIT: Technically the N64 started my dislike for them, but I will say I've got some great memories of 4 player games from that era. That's something PS1 didn't offer.
They're trying to be different than the other companies, they did pretty good with the Wii. It's just that they didn't make games for EVERYONE. The WiiU I think is still nice. I love the console, and the gamepad. They're just trying to be different and people bash what they don't know.
I'm not bashing for the sake of bashing - I've spent enough time with the Wii to know it was not what I wanted in a gaming console, at all. I really can't stand motion controls, and the system that my ex and I had was only ever used for retro games on the Wii shop.
I've played the Wii U, and it's just an overpriced and ungainly consolized DS. It doesn't offer anything new, so don't try to play that card - the touch screen itself is severely dated, not to mention completely useless. Not one game has found an amazing way to use that thing yet.
Kinect has more imagination and potential usefulness for the future of gaming than anything the Wii U can offer. Too bad it doesn't work worth a shit though
Yeah, because every nursing home and hospital in america had one.
We all know the Wii was a casual system, and it's biggest seller was the Wii Sports game that was bundled with it. I do believe even with the massive sales of the system itself, it also has the lowest attach rate of games sold ever. 70 million systems sold don't really mean shit when each user only owns one or two games - which is just a testament to all the damn shovelware that was put out on that thing.
Gypsy, back me up here.
I know you're not, but other people do. I played a lot of Skyward Sword and Mario Galaxy on my Wii, and before I got my GameCube a lot of GameCube games.
I don't think it is...I haven't played all of the games, but there are some that use the touchpad..
Kinect sucks balls, simple as that.
Kinect is just broken as hell. I don't know if they'll ever get it worked out correctly. I think the real problem with a piece of tech like that is that it's limited by it's $100+ price tag. If the Kinect was like a $500 device (which no one would really buy), then I could see it actually working really well.
No asking for help here Flava. The Wii has quite a bit of games that I find enjoyable.
The old Kinect was like that, the newer one isn't bad. Depending on where you place it, if it's right in front of the TV, definitely will collect game noise too. But if it's sitting a bit away, it'll work just fine. And thankfully it doesn't sound like that anymore, it sounds better now.
Yeah, because you have bad taste in games
Seriously though, people that don't buy video game stuff bought the Wii. Ninty got lucky and tapped a market that no one else could reach. However, that market is now pretty much the cheap iOS and Android gaming market, or better known as the ADHD crowd that just needs a quick fix and can't stick with anything.
The problem with Wii U, other than the obvious (underpowered, small HDD, terrible online connectivity, overpriced and useless controller, etc) is that it was billed as a hard core machine, but Ninty has obviously gone back on that. They don't know where or how to market it to anyone and it clearly shows. When a AAA Mario 3D title can't even help move units, you know there is a problem.
100% fact. Anyone that brings up Wii sales is trolling and they know it.
There's a reason I find them for $10-20 every other garage sale.
Anyway more on point about the Wii. It's a console that requires more effort. There's just soooooo much shovelware on it but imo there are plenty of true gems worth playing. The first party stuff is what it is I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about some pretty cool exclusives, mostly rpgs and horror games as well as some fairly unique games in general. The DS is kinda similar, but with a bunch more games that are actually good. The high shovelware content is pretty much the same though. Also the Wii-Mote pisses me off. The best games let you use a gamecube controller...
Thank you Gypsy
Yeah that ended up being a huge fail on their part imo. But also what you said is very true, a lot of that market is gaming with their phone playing angry birds and minecraft now.
Wish I could find a nice Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn though :(
I love PoR and RD but I couldn't resist trading the last ones I had for legitimate rares. I missed getting another PoR for $23 by about half an hour, but at least I know the guy it went to and it's for his personal collection.
Movie time.
