I'm gonna study reading your sigs Eddie. :P
I'm gonna stick to learning a language that I might actually need to use sometime in the future. Like Spanish.
Elin + Venom = Death Incarnate.
True Fact.
Yay~ ^_^ I'm not sure how useful it'll be. It's just random words plucked from a big .txt of words I've looked up while playing Japanese RPGs in the past. ^^;;; But maybe you'll learn something useful. At very least, it'll help you with reading hiragana. ^_^
Junchou ('Ji' + a small 'yu' is 'jyu' or 'ju')
Shobun (Shi + a small 'yo' is 'sho')
Temadoru
Shori
To the left of all the hiragana words are their equivalents in kanji, too. ^_^ Even if you don't know any kanji yet, you might be able to memorise some just by looking at them. A simple and useful one is the first character in 'temadoru'. It's read 'te', and means 'hand'. ^_^
I'm supposing I got many of those wrong. :wacko:Quote:
Shigan.
Jiyunchi-something-u.
Soeru.
Shi-something-fun
Te-something-doru
Aseru.
Kanri.
Shi-something-ri.
Shiyuusei.
Yeah, I'm trying to learn hiragana and katakana first before trying to learn actual words. :P And I'm trying to finish up memorizing "r" and "h" with the "b" and "p", sometimes I get confused with the ten ten (I think those lines that differences between ka and ga) and the little circle that makes them into "p".
So far I only know the kanji of black (kuro) since that would be my last name in japanese. :lol But yeah, I'm trying to pay attention whenever I see one. :nod:
Ah, I finally got it, I have problems to difference the little "yu". >__>
Actually, I managed to memorize "yu" and "ri" because of seeing the hiraganas for Yukari. :wacko:
lift brand soda? QUICK SOMEONE GOOGLE THAT! STAT!
LOL MOONSPEAK.
The only problem a person would have with spanish it's the use of accents (é, á) etc, :P There is a Belgian teacher in my school and she says that she didn't had too much trouble learning spanish. She is a bit sloppy sometimes so we even speak in english to practice it as well. :lol

I don't find accents so bad, having learned a bit of French. ^_^ And I like the fact that in Spanish, you can omit the subject of a verb most of the time, because it's made obvious by the verb form. I always liked that in Japanese too. ^_^ It never made sense to me that in French, you have to say stuff like 'je suis'. You know by the verb form 'suis' that the subject is going to be 'je', so why bother? ^^;;;
...
Although I'm sure that there's something really important in French that I'm overlooking that makes such things essential. ^_^
Anyway, someday I'll try and engage you in conversation in Spanish. It might not be today. It might not be tomorrow. But someday~ Of course...I've been learning French on and off for a couple of years now, and I'm still totally reluctant to try and speak to Evans, so... ^_^ I guess it might be a while before I have the confidence.

Thinking about it now, alot of our matches were kinda like a game of keep the shield away from Ivolt. :wacko:
Yes, katakana is more straight line-y, and maybe easier to adapt to writing. ^_^ Although it can be difficult at first to tell the difference between 'so' and 'n', and 'shi' and 'tsu'. At least...I found it difficult. ^^;;; Eventually it just becomes second nature, though.
It's funny when people talk about grammar and stuff, because I end up like "wut?" when someone talks about the "participle" in english and stuff. :P
Probably it's because I learned english without proper classes or anything, just from watching the BBC Channel as a kid and ignoring the subtitles (I think that the news were un-subbed but the shows were), so yeah, many times when people studying english ask about me of stuff like "past participle" I don't have any idea of what they're talking about. :P
I guess it's because I'm used to self-taught, same happened with the guitar, english and now Japanese, but I'm thinking that I will need classes for that.
Whenever you feel ready. :nod: I'm not grammar nazi, so don't worry. :wacko:
At the time, it felt more like 'Try desperately to survive. <_<'. I'm too nervy for fighting games, really.
...
Also, I can't believe I lost that. I had a full health Chun-Li and both of your team were nearly dead. <_<; I really can't play as her. ^_^
...
Plus you're a lot better at timing supers correctly. >_>;
It's funny speaking to people that don't understand you. You start talking LOUDER. AND. SLOW-ER.
Hee, no, I'm the same with English really. ^_^ It comes too naturally. My brother did a teaching course in English before he left for Japan, and he asked me a lot of questions. It staggered me just how little I actually knew. ^_^ I mean...I knew everything he asked, but...none of the proper names for any of it. I didn't really pay much attention in school as a kid. I just read a bunch of books. >_>;
"I fucked your mom last night."
The "ed" in this is a past participle, as it makes the word "fuck" the past tense "fucked"
"I fucking love getting oral sex from your mom."
In this case, the "ing" would be a present participle, as it makes the verb "fuck" present tense.
Basically participles are words that change when a verb occurs.

I'd make the world's worst english teacher. :wacko:
Once I had to talk to some customer when I worked at the warehouse club. He was american (I dislike that term, it's like they own the whole continent, over here we call them estadounidenses, which I like better, but eh) and tried to talk in spanish with me. I did talk slowly to him.
After several failed tries of saying "Cuanto cuesta?" (How much?) he just got angry and said: "Fuck your beaner language".
I just smiled and told him: "I understood what you said, sir, have a nice day and don't forget to bring a dictionary next time."
He got angry and left.
I lol'd.
You'd giggle whenever you were going through verbs and said 'to come', wouldn't you? ^_^
...
Okay, my older brother totally did that too. <_<; He asked for a list of Japanese verbs before he left. And when I said 'kuru' meant 'to come', he just burst out laughing. Filthy, I say! <_<;
OMG I LOVE U. <3
You need to open a school. And get lots of girls in it. With nice uniforms.
I wanna be the coach of whatever sports team they create in there.
I'll pick the uniform.
So that's what it means! :wacko:Quote:

I don't know how I won this one.
I was like "Bwyah?"
rhombidodecadodecahedron -gotta be the longest math related word I've ever seen (yes, it's a real word, type it into wiki or google)
I though of calling him "I understood you, asshole." But then I would have shown that I got offended, I didn't wanted him to have the satisfaction of it. :ignore:
I'm not saying everyone are, but sometimes I hate holidays over here, many people from the US come and they are really rude to people who are more than glad to receive them in their restaurants and whatnot.
Probably it's because they're shocked because Mexico and specially Monterrey isn't the dusty, old and disgusting country that the media shows them.
We're no Tokyo or London but c'mon... >_>
In the ass :wacko:
Naked is NOT a uniform! :wacko:
You thought the characters just went through a name change huh? :wacko:
Almost. It was more of a light laugh or chuckle than a giggle. :wacko:
I also loved messing people up in french. It's wonderful how 10 quickly becomes "dicks" :wacko:
Hey, I meant the normal 'come'. <_<; Like 'Are you coming to the cinema?'. ^_^
...
Besides, Japanese uses the verb 'To go' for that sort of come. <_<; 'Iku'. It's one of the few words I can still remember from the 'Crash course in dirty Japanese' that my older brother put me through when I stayed there with him. I forgot most of the nastier words, but remembered that because I thought it was interesting that they say 'I'm going' where we say 'I'm coming'.
...
I find that interesting? Gosh I'm a dork. <_<;
