Started Hanasaku Iroha.
Episode 1: Ah, interesting. The grandmother's a little harsh, though. She's definitely...ah...old-fashioned about this.
Episode 2: Hmmm, she seems to be doing a little better, and it seems she'll be a catalyzer in this case. Also, that's not a good cliffhanger at all.

Anyway, I'm following a few ongoing shows. There's Persona 4, which is already up to episode 3. I have zero complaints. Really good adaptation so far.
Then there's Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. This is an odd one. Aside from the rather fanservice-oriented character designs (again, zero complaints :wacko:) and occasional hijinks, this could turn out to be really good. The basic premise alone fascinates and confuses me at the same time, so if anything, I'm watching it out of curiousity, just to see where it'll go.
Guilty Crown. So many clichés in one episode, my god. But in all honesty, I didn't mind it too much, for the sole reason that the animation and fight scenes were fuckawesome. I'm being shallow here, but hey, I need to turn my brain off sometimes.

Currently, still watching Bleach week by week, but as of new anime, finally 3rd season for Shakugan no Shana is here, so ive been watching that, aswell as Fate/Zero. Also been rewatching To Aru Majutsu no Index, as its one of my most favourite anime evar xD
Finished the second season of Kaiji. Not nearly as good as the first season (plus they dragged out the last arc like crazy), but I guess it's still Kaiji. So overall, it was a decent watch despite that.
Denpa teki na Kanojo. Man, I really enjoyed this. Sadly, it's also rather short. It pains me when there's a show I really like and it turns out it's only two OVA episodes. :wacko: Hey, Japan! Make more of this, kthx.
Finally started with Texhnolyze, after many aborted viewings of the first episode. On episode 7 right now, and enjoying it.
The last one I watched was Blue Exorcist - after following it weekly, I had to stop with anime and everything else for a while, so I had the pleasure of watching episodes 19-25 one after another. Easily my second favorite shonen.
Finished Texhnolyze. I now count it among favorites.
Watching Mirai Nikki and Un-Go. Despite the seen-it-before-ness, I like them. Mirai Nikki especially gets pretty intense as it goes. I just wish they decided if they want to be a rather dark anime or a quirky, ha-ha anime. This duality is somewhat hurting the quality.
Durarara makes my dick rock hard. 15 episodes in, watching subbed (which makes sense since this one deals heavily with Japanese culture). It's not Baccano level crazy but I love all the surprising and strange elements being thrown around.
Rideback. That's really awesome; I've been finding so many cool animes that I feel kind of silly about the anime rant I wrote years ago. I was just out of the loop and there were too many out there for me to locate the ones I would enjoy.

Following Mirai Nikki after reading the entire manga. Pretty good adaptation so far. Wondering how they'll handle the ending, and whether or not it'll be changed.
Still watching Guilty Crown, and I'm having mixed feelings about it. Pretty neat animation and fight scenes, but everything else is kind of a mess. It's like the creators don't want me to like any of the main characters. I mean, my god. :wacko: The supporting cast is infinitely more interesting, honestly. Will keep watching, though, to see if it ever redeems itself.
Edit: Two days after I say this, a new episode comes out and is kind of awesome. Alright GC, you are forgiven for now. :wacko:
After making fun of it for so long, I'm watching G Gundam. Because nothing goes better with burritos than ham and cheese. :angel:

Watched Summer Wars a couple days ago; the animation style wasn't my cup of tea but, it was acceptable. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit other than that.

The dub of that was epic in that terrible kind of way. I don't know how to quantify it really. Kind of like enjoying a b-horror film.

In fact, I took some snapshots of Sonic and Tails, took them to paint, "sprayed" some
black on their eyes and, believe it or not, they feel like the classic Sonic and Tails to me!

Second season of Shinryaku! Ika Musume. Not the best ever, but it's sufficiently entertaining stuff.
Baka and Test, good stuff. Samurai Girls was next on my list, the animation was off putting and I passed on it. Watching Full Metal Panic now.
Finished Full Metal Panic, probably going to watch Deltora Quest with my brother next.

Expect QUALITY. It's rather meh. It would have been way better had they decided to continue on and cover the Shadowlands and Dragons arcs from the novels because the ending was unsatisfying after having read the books. Although one of the very good things about it, third opening is amazing.Quote:

No, that was a lie, though I might watch it depending on how good the sci-fi aspects are; I heard its actually pretty fanservice-light, though the "high schoolers become pirates" thing seems a little...typical. Still watching Persona 4 as its released.
