You want to make sure everything you want is included. With a thin client you aren't likely to find accessories separate and with a NUC you can get a better deal by being patient and buying what you want from the start (ie. larger SSD, HDD, more memory).

If you're looking for one then you might want to read some stuff on CoreElec first, so you know what chipsets to look for. A lot of the amlogic stuff you should be fine, even if you have to use an older build of CoreElec (aka legacy). SD/micro SD slot means you can boot from SD and leave the original OS intact, so you won't brick from trying to flash a new image to the box.
