Mine is trinity (29/09/2010) and not a 4GB version.
I certainly don't know of anyone that has had issues with trinity consoles over here.
But I've heard that rgh coronas sometimes have issues (I think corona has HANA integrated into southbridge, not sure).

Our consoles and yours would be exactly the same, I dunno about the NA equivalents.
You see thousands of dead older 360's and PS3's of all types (bar the last revision) on ebay and other places over here...I don't think I'd bother buying any PS3 other than a recent one. Free stuff is different of course :wacko:
