I know man, it's annoying. I even had a Fire Station decked out with 4 Heli-pads on top, and the damn choppers wouldn't even do anything. Then I started having Hazmat fires and NO ONE could put them out. Same goes for the hospital - I had EMT vans and all sorts of shit, and even researched advanced medicine at a University and people were still dying left and right because my damn ambulances would get stuck in traffic.

Oh, then the best happened yesterday: I decided to gift $1 million to a new startup city. Well, the game kicked me out after I sent the armored car off to do an update. I come back 10 minutes later, and the $1 mil is gone for good. Damn game is so frustrating :wacko:

I do like the game alot, but I really wish the damn maps were bigger. I don't mind the city specialization thing, but I swear just when I get a city going and making money, I'm out of room. And of course, you don't want to start bulldozing and rezoning because then everyone gets pissed off. I agree with you 1,000000%. I want the damned maps to be at least, 5 maybe 10 times bigger? I think it'd make the game at least a little bit better.

I'm just hoping with all the shit EA and Maxis have been catching since the game released, we'll see some major improvements in the next month or so. My only fear with getting bigger maps is that it will be some ignorant ass paid expansion pack, which shouldn't be the case. I refuse to play the Sims 3 anymore because that game was incomplete on release, and since I bought it on Steam and it constantly updates, they're always dangling new options in front of you while you play, but you have to buy like 5 damn expansions to get the goods. If this game turns into that, then I'm turning my back on Maxis. I already hate EA to the bone, but Maxis has been good to me for many many years, but I can't take much more of it.

Especially since SimCity was $60 right off the bat - most PC games retail for $50, and Steam usually has new stuff for $45 if you preorder. :ignore:
