I'm alternating between a lot of games right now, mostly Megaman X 1-3 on SNES. And Fat Princess, and MW2. That's really all the games I care to play right now.

Started Legend of Dragoon. ^_^ One of the few big Playstation RPGs I never played. I tried it years ago, but the iffy translation rubbed me up the wrong way and I never made it very far. That being said, I got a Japanese copy out of a junk store for about 50 yen about a year ago, and in the interests of actually playing the games I buy I thought I'd give it a go~! ^^;;;
Interestingly, I'm actually playing it on an old grey Playstation. The emulators I tested it with choked on its copy protection, and I couldn't be bothered messing around with different BIOS trying to find one that played nice with it. My PS2 is currently at a friend's, and my PS3 is a Euro model, and won't play Japanese PS1 titles. Besides, playing a PS1 RPG that I've never played before on my old Playstation with my old controller? Feels good man. The 3D models look like ass on my nice new TV without any emulator-y filtering, but still feels good man.
I keep finding myself drawn back into Oblivion to gear up for Skyrim.....even though its gonna be ttoooooootally different, but yeah, that and Black ops for no reason other than to shoot people. In the face. With explosive crossbows.
3rd Birthday.
Final Fantasy Legend 2
Galactic Civ II
Restarted Phantasy Star 2 and 3.
Final Fantasy Tactics; War of the Lions again. All mage party this time :bed:
Legend of Dragoon playing in my pc just recently finished the game :D
Playing Simpsons Hit&Run. I was inspired. Simple yet extremely fun game. Forgotten how much I loved running around with those guys.
Shining Force CD
Ryuu ga Gotoku 4
playing metal max returns for snes and resident evil outbreak. been switching between the two since yesterday.
Gears of War 3.
*dies*
American McGee's Alice. It's a nice game, but difficult to controll the character. She simply doesn't stay on moving platforms.
Gears 3.
Well, there goes my GPA.
I'm playing through FFIX. 1st time going back through it since it was released. I remember the day it came out I had 2 wisdom teeth cut out and got my gf at the time to drive me to buy it after my dentist appointment lol. I spent the next 3-4 days on the couch heavily medicated and playing FFIX. Also playing Illusion of Gaia and BF:BC2 on the PC.
compleating a few ps1 rpg's, im on final fantasy 7 at the moment
Currently playing Hard Reset and Front Mission 3.
Second playthrough of Xenoblade. Aiming for near-100% completion this time, because I missed out on quite a lot of stuff on my first run. 28 hours in an still at Satorl Marsh. Oh man. This will take a while.
Castlevania something or other for DS. I LOVE these Castlevania games, always have. This is the one where you have to DRAW seals/symbols on the touch screen....pretty cooooool....
Cheers
Tales of Xillia
Even though it was essentially that. I enjoyed it, it was my favorite of the DS Castlevanias. Though I'm not sure how I feel about the art change with the character portraits.
On topic: Just beat the campaign in Gear of War 3, so now I can spend far too many hours playing Multiplayer.
I downloaded Crimecraft: BLEEDOUT from steam. It was free, so I thought why not. It's terrible. I don't know why you would want to play a game like that, it is awful, it's way to easy, and disgusting.
Shining Force, the original Genesis version.
Dead island,Zelda
Oh god, 100% completion on Xenoblade? Good luck with that. How's the translation? ^_^
About five or six hours into the second CD of Legend of Dragoon now. Also:

Grandia in Simplified Chinese via a very lovely and super professional fan translation. ^^;;; The amount of words I'm having to look up in this brings back painful memories of when I was starting to learn Japanese. It seriously took me a good few hours just to reach this early scene~! But I shan't admit defeat. :3
Yes indeed. I mean, I didn't even rebuild Colony 6 in the JP version! I felt terrible for leaving it like that.
I'm liking the localization. The English voice acting is pretty decent for the most part (plus they kinda grow on you after a while), but I find myself switching to the Japanese track quite often. Thankfully you can do it mid-game. I mean, I spent a good 100 hours with these characters in the JP version, so I pretty much immediately associate them with their original voices, and it's hard to get used to anything else. Not to mention that seeing English subtitles and hearing the Japanese voices helps me learn new stuff, as always. The translation itself is nice as well. Very British. Get ready for NPC quest givers replying with a "cheers!" or "nice one!" when you complete their respective tasks.
Your determination to learn new languages never ceases to amaze me.
I was planning on replaying the game in French when I can find a little time. ^_^ Might put on the English dub as well, as I like what I've heard, and I've already played it in Japanese. ^^;;; I know what you mean, though. Once you've gotten used to one set of voices for characters, it's hard to swap over. The Chinese Grandia I'm playing uses the Japanese voices, and it's weeeeeird hearing the characters speak Japanese, even though the English voices were bottom of the barrel levels of horrible. :'D
Myaaah. Say that once my Chinese is actually good enough to not be looking up multiple words every single sentence. ^^;;;
Friend watching me play yesterday: "Oh yeah, I remember this bit. You're about to hit the most irritating dungeon in any game ever."
No relation, I take it?
To your friend? I would hope not, but I suppose it's possible.
But yes, I figure we're probably thinking of the same dungeon. It gets worse if you opt to go the completionist route. Actually, LoD is horrible for that all around. From the missable collectibles to the stupid repetitive bits (they actually designed a dungeon around an overinflated bureaucracy. I SHIT YOU NOT).
