I feel like most movies that get too much hype are just compensating for their actual crapiness.
I was so unbearably excited about The Last Airbender movie until I saw it. The only good part about that night was the midnight release crowd had a lot of energy and was fun to be a part of. Many near fist-fights amongst the crowd before the movie from all the excitement, and then after the movie because everyone wanted to punch M. Night :awesome:
I didn't pay either so my opinion migh tbe sweetened of it as well. But I certainly remember a few parts where I was said oh cool or something like that. I was frustrated with the shitty storyline and unlovable characters. My favorite character was tron and that's only because he did cool shit.Quote:
