My state is enforcing mask use starting this Monday.
We've had some small clusters (aged care and meat works sites) that've evolved into greater community transmission so it's justified imo.
I think my state is up to just over 100 deaths now and that's from the very start of this until now, so it's not completely out of control yet, hopefully things will get better soon with less cases and deaths though.
I think the main issue is people testing positive then not isolating (going out for groceries and even some cases of people going to work...ffs). They think because they aren't sick they can do whatever but I'd go as far to say that they're sociopaths.
There are plenty of people not actually tested positive doing the wrong thing too. Go get a test, do shopping before or after because they're out anyway...they shouldn't be doing anything until getting test results.
Young people having parties and generally not maintaining social distancing. It's extremely rare to see a young person wearing a mask locally, the majority that have used masks are middle age or older.
To give you an idea of what's going on atm, here are some numbers:
Australia totals as of yesterday (Friday 31st July):
Confirmed cases= 16,905
Deaths= 196
Victoria (my state) totals of yesterday:
Confirmed cases= 10,577
Deaths= 112
Now while the population of my state is large by Australian standards, there are an excessive amount of cases and deaths here compared to national totals.
Total national population is probably around 26 million.
My state is 2nd largest at over 6 million.
Australia fortunately is just as sparse as we are if not more so.
Thank god I can work freely since I'm simply the janitor of my building (and the one next door) all the cleaning products I use might just be a good deterrent. We've had 195 in my province.
For all of Canada though it's almost 9000 :dread:
You're pretty damn remote even compared to us, has a pretty damn big impact on halting things population wise.
Of course you don't have Americans sneaking into your country through Alaska
And they have the gall to complain about Mexicans
I doubt it.
Your total size is around 2.3 million sg km more than ours.
It's 9976140 vs 7686850.
Our population is less than yours so our population density is slightly less. Most of our population live in the big cities and we probably have less of those cities than you do.
If you want to be really amazed look at the case numbers and deaths for New Zealand (Australia's little brother).
^Live updates. Truly astonishing numbers.Code:https://nzcovid19.com/
NZ only has just over 5 million people, but that's very close to the population of my state and their numbers are really fucking low.
That might affect Canada and Mexico, and we'll sue for damages.
Found out my buddy used to get ROMs from Emuparadise. Was a fun chat with him talking about the forums, and apparently he used to frequent the forums here as well. Not sure what his username was though.
In retrospect, Microsoft knows what it's doing after all. 🐧 https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/ov...inux-on-azure/
And the file hosting situation is total bullshit in general. We can thank Biden for that. Things could be worse for the Internet, Joe Satan could be President.

Yeah file hosting pretty much sucks balls now.
You can still share stuff if you're smart but if you wanna share loads of GB you'll need heaps of mega accounts, too much fucking around.
Even stuff uploaded to archive.org can be removed although there is still a lot of good stuff available there.
It's torrents (including private trackers) and usenet if you wanna be a dedicated pirate.
There are still yet other ways too ;)
I miss the old days of the internet. Megaupload and Rapidshare are no more.
For a second I thought you were going to say aliens beamed roms straight to your brain
As far as we know this universe is a simulation running on a PlayStation 90 in the real distant future and reality is a ROM in itself.

I've got the Digimon World Guide up. I can't seem to find the one for 2 or 3 anywhere.
Wonderful! I keep getting blue screen errors on my laptop.
