On another note, I believe Eddie Murphy played almost every character in the Nutty Professor movies...
What a sad day it is when I have to take most of my games and movies out of their cases and put into a giant CD holder ;_;
it's amazing how screwed up a lot of indie games are....
DEATH NOTE MOVIE CAST: Discuss!
Could care less.
Alright, seems like I almost got this set up correctly.
On the whole, Genesis > SNES. And this is coming from someone who grew up with the latter.
It really depends what GSB meant by "screwed up" on whether or not this is a valid response.
If by "screwed up" he meant low quality, I'd say absolutely not. There are plenty of games made by major developers that sucked giant donkey balls, and there are plenty of games made by indie developers that were absolutely fantastic. The environment may influence production values, but it doesn't decide quality outright.
On the other hand, if he was saying "amg mindfuck" then I'd definitely agree. Not being part of a major developer means they aren't constrained by industry standards such as the normal life cycle and the need to get a certain ESRB rating in order to hit their target audience. Indie games are allowed to experiment and try new things that may or may not work. They're allowed to look at subjects that would generally be considered taboo in the industry. They're allowed to make the player shit their pants, throw up, or blow their load. Basically, indie games don't give a fuck.

Brb making favourite thread. "Poll: Favourite 16-bit Console: AKA Why The SNES is Better Than Genesis"
The two systems had entirely different styles of games. SNES had amazing RPGs and some good platformers. I'm not entirely sure what Genesis had that was better. Fighting games? Racing games? Beat-em-ups? I guess probably most of the games that were worth playing on it are the ones that have been re-released on Steam and the 360 in the past year or two.
I Missed the whole 16 bit era lol went from 8 to 32
I grew up with the Genny and PSX. :]
Dino Crisis is so fucking good.
