Well, I just put it on when I see an enemy or when I'm being shot at. It does help, though, I actually killed three guys in a row once, thanks to the armor. Keep in mind that the more XP you gain the higher your armor and damage rating will be. Maybe you were just killed by a higher level dude. It sucks when you don't have enough time to apply it, though. YAY RANKING SYSTEM, IT'S KINDA BULLSHIT. :wacko:

Yeah, that's probably why. Try relying a bit more on Stealth mode for tougher enemies.

Hide in Stealth mode while the enemy runs past you -> uncloak and shoot him in the back -> laugh like a madman. :wacko:
