Kids Next Door :o
I grew up in the 80's myself, I watched Voltron, Transformers, Thundercats, Count Duckula, Mighty Mouse, Samuri pizza cats, visionary knights, gummi bears, Dino riders, He-man, centurions, Alf, duck tales, tale spin, duckwing duck, super Ted. Banana man, BraveStarr, Captain N.
the list goes on Great show's! Heaps better than the shows kids watch these days. I've been downloading all the old cartoons I use to watch so one day/some day I can show my kids.
Silver hawks, snorks, G.I Joe, TMNT, Garfield and friends, speed racer, captain planet.
Quack Pack!
...
Pokémon, Beyblade, DBZ, TMNT...
Still watch the first and third... if it's on TV.
IGPX!
I watch old cartoons on Saturday mornings. It takes back to when I was little. It's a lot fun. I even watch old ads.haha.
Rave Master!
The Simpsons, the Simpsons, the Simpsons.
Aside from that, the only show I feel the need to mention is the Adventures of Pete & Pete. No other show was able to capture the imagination and wonder of youth like Pete & Pete. Truly amazing.
Oh My god! I loved that show! I was disappointed when it was cancelled. What a quirky, innovative show. I miss it.
2 Stupid Dogs!
Lol catdog
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, (The original series.) Animaniacs, Pinky and The Brain, Looney Toons, Tiny Toons, and that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Bunch of anime (Hunter X Hunter, Offside, Ghost at School, etc)
Being male, I would never have admitted this back then, but I loved watching the Powerpuff Girls, alongside more 'manly' shows like Dragonball, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Yu-Gi-Oh, Animaniacs, Earthworm Jim, and Freakazoid.
Oh, also Space Ghost: Coast-to-Coast. Funny story behind that one; watching that was actually my reward for when I was good throughout the day. My dad would come home late from work (well, normal time for him, but always past my normal bed time), and if mom gave the thumbs-up, he and I would watch it together and laugh and laugh until I inevitably passed out halfway through because I was, like, six.
Man, I miss that show.
I'm starting to feel really down now :(
This thread brings back memories of the shows I used to watch.
I remember Biker Mice From Mars as well. I liked Captain Star (it played for 2 seasons), as well as Rahan Fils du Soleil (Rahan Son of the Sun). Aside from those shows, I loved Highlander, GIJOES, Inspector Gadget, Goof Troops and more.
*sigh* I wanna be a kid again...
My favorites were Teenaage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters and Scooby Doo
The original TMNT cartoon, GI Joes & Captain Planet on USA
Quack Pack, Marsupilami, Bump In The Night, Duck Tales, & several others I'm sure on Toon Disney
Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, Eurekas Castle, Angry Beavers, All That, Kenan & Kel, Cousin Skeeter, "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?", Nickelodeon Guts, Wild & Crazy Kids, Salute Your Shorts, Nick Arcade, etc etc on Nickelodeon
And of course, good ol' Beavis & Butthead & Married With Children
...yeah, TV pretty much sums up my whole early childhood :|
I was born in 1995, so naturally I watched Dexters Laboratory, Star Trek TNG and Firefly.
I loved Dexter's Lab. his accent was so cool. Space Ghost:coast to coast was good too.
Summer Glau from Firefly actually makes a special appearance on one of the episodes in Big Bang Theory
PBS crap, and 4Kids stuff (pretty good) and ABC Kids (terrible except for Power Rangers RPM and parts of Jungle Fury and most of SPD)
Pokemon, Pokemon, Pokemon, and Pokemon. Then, there was YuGiOh and all the shows on Kids WB. I remember Megaman NT Warriors. I still wonder what happened to Protoman...
I also watched ed ed n' eddie (a very weird show which was on cartoon network)
Original GI Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, M.A.S.K, Voltron, He-Man, DuckTales, Pee-Wee's Playhouse (ever watch that show today?? Some stuff in there is really whacked), Wonder Years, Punky Brewster, Who's The Boss, Super Mario Super Show, Legend of Zelda, TMNT, Simpsons, Roseanne, Married with Children (yea, those last two are totally trashy shows, lol), Beverly Hills 90210 and of course Saved by the Bell. That covers from about 84-96ish. After that I pretty much stopped watching TV.
Fresh Prince reruns always seemed to be on early in my childhood, can't seem to find them now
