Initially, Elk and I were knocking out the monster portals in (delta) Plenteous, Smiling, Hypha. But he sucks so bad he kept dying and I had to fight the monster myself. After I ran out of Resurrects, it only took a few minutes for me to be overrun. I need the Ronan Blades, and to get those, I need to defeat a portal full of Heavy Metals.

I did that the first time, but the second time, I just ran us to the dungeon, loaded us up with strengthening spells, and headed in. We had no problem until the final boss battle, and I needed the Ronan Blades.
