I've always loved that avatar.
Keep on sniffin' 'til yer brain goes....
!~POP~!
This Xbox game has 7 hours remaining. I hope that all the RAR's download 100%. Or I won't be best pleased.
Having to reset router to download from Rapidshare is annoying.
I can get a free account from my ISP. I just have no bloody idea how to use it. :(
>Do you know what I"m talking about? I don't hink I'm breaking the rules by posting a link to his so...http://slyck.com/ng.php
The link should be fine. It was in a thread Sprung made about using newsgroups a long time back.
Also Astaroth, you need your Blueyonder email and password to set up the newsgroup. I remember you saying you didn't know yours....
/off to eat.
Hmm.
Bah
I don't have one.
They are gay.
Anyone own a R4DS?
Jack, maybe you could clear something up for me that I've just sort of realised.
Back when I used Usenet, Sprung and I would post links to newzbin all the time. Now, I never knew why we were allowed, I just assumed we could because it was pretty much a 'specialist' thing. Like, you had to be 'in the know' to use it.
Well I just realised that torrents are sort of like that, so why can't we post links to torrent sites with bad thingz? I understand that torrents are much more widely used and commercialised, but the same principle should apply, no?
Newsgroups are the shit. You will get the full download speed of your connection pretty much all the time.
I own this thread.
Anyone know anything about filesharing/xbmc/networking?? I'm having issues with XBMC connecting to my network for filesharing.
I'm using
Windows XP SP2 w/Sygate firewall.
XBMC-SVN_2007-02-09_rev7813-T3CH dashboard.
I've created the network connections etc, it just won't fileshare.
The weird thing is the Xbox is accessing the internet fine but not the sharing folders/network.
Gahhh, I just woke up, and I feel like crap. @_@
Slow Hangout, I see.
Indeed it is. I just got done making breakfast...at 2:02 in the afternoon. >_>
No
I'm trying to fileshare from PC to XBMC
My FTP works fine
