I saw where it said "ROM" too, but maybe the person who uploaded the video found it somewhere and assumed it was a rom.

Because if it is a rom, then he's an idiot for not using save states.
Even if he's trying to fullfill a challenge by beating the game without using them, he should still have tried using save states to practice and learn where all the hidden blocks and pitfalls are before he undertook the challenge.

I'm starting to think that there isn't a ROM available. I saw this posted over at the Something Awful forums and no-one's found a download link for it yet.

Someone linked to the ROM on Something Awful so I can't take credit, but yeah. The file you need to to run is called "Super Mario Forever Clean Patch.nes".

My friend showed me this, but some person put there own "words" to it. Some nerdy guy swearing everytime he died, he'd make it past a part, and act like a big man.... then get sniped and die instanly.... it was hillairous
