Immigrants being paid lower than minimum wage is the reason why they get hired so often by big corporations. Outsourcing is the technological equivalent of this. The reason outsourcing is, um, bad, is because companies know that it is cheaper to hire workers in countries outside of the US (India, for instance), therefore increasing profit margins and decreasing employment in the US. American workers can't compete with that because they can't be paid lower than minimum wage (one of the reasons why your "I don't know anyone on minimum wage" speech is irrelevant, I'll get to the other in a sec). Outsourcing is fucking middle management US up in the same way that underpaying immigrants fucks up the working class US, and you don't know it because you can't see it. And to you, that's evidence enough that nothing's wrong?

Bush has put the country into a trillion dollar deficit, how else do you suggest Kerry bail out Bush's sorry mess? Raffles? A cake stall, perhaps? You know what I'm going to say here. John Kerry is mad about outsourcing jobs and what better way to outsource jobs than taking your money and spending it in another country. If you think the incredibley rich pay most of their taxes, then you are mistaken. They hire armies of lawyers to protect their assets. He's voting to raise taxes on normal people too. About healthcare, yeah i am not exactly poor, but i also wasn't surrounded by drug using parents and lazy people, so my parents have jobs. Do you know how lazy people in the US are? Those who don't get jobs don't get healthcare. I would say go get a job or go back to school and get a better education if you are worried about healthcare. About the Iraq coverage, I didn't see the liberal media report on how bad Cosavo and Somalia were when Clinton was in power and screwed things up. Give me a list of adults that make minimum wage. I would like to see how many you know and evidence that they do exist and what education they have. Thank you for reading this.

I can't really be that bothered to get involved, but...you say if you want healthcare, go and get a job or go back to school?
Eh? Supposing I had cancer. I could just vomit up blood and have extreme pain, while studying. I'm so lazy, I can't work while not being treated!
My Father was poor, and a crackhead. He was on Welfare. With this positive role model, I grew up. I was poor. I couldn't get through school. I didn't have the money, really. So I did the only thing which one can do if they are a member of the working class, which brings money home: I turned to crime. I deal ecks, and all sorts of things. I can't work legally because I'm not paid a wage good enough to keep my family alive. Nice! I work like a dog, dealing, and I'm caught. I'm now poor and in prison!

How? How can you afford to? No one said he dropped out. I think he's talking about college. A High School diploma means shit as far a good job goes. My friend dropped out in 10th grade. In roughly 5 years, he's a car salesman.

Wow...Kerry...what a fuck. How can you just concede...I lost the little respect I had for the man.

Too late, but nevermind, here we go anyway. Firstly, once again I'm going to have to give unfeasibly large "props" to Jimmy Onestroke, that was just awesome. Happy birthday dude, hope you got something good.
Now in the aftermath of watching all this shit on tv, there's a couple of things that have pissed me off, here's a couple I can think of now:
1. Calling for Kerry to concede. What the fuck? I'm sorry, but surely the idea should be that all the votes get counted, then they have a winner? There shouldn't even be an option to concede. It's almost like a basketball game where one team is 8 points down and announces at the start of the 4th quarter that they realise they've lost, and the other team can win if they want. Or something.
2. The whole voting system. I must admit I hadn't really paid a lot of attention to the way the US election worked until this year, but having different amounts of points for different states and whoever has the most points at the end wins seems a bit wierd. Surely it makes more sense to use the good old "most votes wins" system? Yep, I realise this would've guarenteed Bush another go at the four year popularity contest, but at least the system would've made sense. Maybe.
3. Some troop in Iraq saying that he voted for Bush because Bush "Supports the military". I just can't quite see how sending them off to die is supportive. The issue of what they'd actually be dieing for has been gone over a bunch of times, and I can't be arsed to have that one again.

Y'know, my life didn't exactly suck at all these last four years, so we'll see what happens now. Everybody's acting all depressed or whatever, but we have no idea what Kerry would've done with the economy. Besides, it's been shown that the economy is often still affected by a president's actions four years after he was in office - so maybe the future economy will be a good reflection of what Bush is really doing. And then there's the whole fact about him not having absolute power an' all that. So I'm not gonna worry myself to death over this - I'm gonna support the president, even though my ballot wasn't even counted - it was absentee, still in the mail at the time of concession. Go Bush. ...but what about all the other officials I voted for? Meh.

I kinda hoped Kerry would win, so we can see how things would have improved (or declined). But now all I'm gonna hear everywhere I go is, "We've been robbed!" ekk, I'm not looking forward to this...

Oh and about the healthcare thing, and not being able to afford it.

Join the ARMY! Free Healthcare, and a slew of other benefits. Unless you have cancer or something, then there should be a resource for people like that. I can't imagine that everyone who doesn't have healthcare is sickly. Only some of them.
