Yes Jabo seems quite choppy in places and with glide64 some effects simply are squares as opposed to what they are supposed to be.Quote:

That does raise the question, do older plug-ins sometimes work better than newer plugins?
Yep, it's certainly possible. A fix in a newer version could then affect another game that was previously working fine. Doesn't happen that often though, but Rices plugin seems to have the greatest incidence of this happening IMO > even then the newer versions usually contain enough advanced options to reverse the issue.
