I've learned just the very basics of HTML, fonts, size and other things like that, but, how do I do things like navigaion menus?
Is there a way to have a window inside the big ie window? Kind of like this:
http://javascript.internet.com/forms/html-preview.html
but have text already be in that box (so I can use it on my website to display news and updates).
Do you mean something like iframes which I use in my site - www.ragrafx.com [the news]Quote:

could somebody tell me a good site to learn html from?for a complete novice that is.
Try www.w3schools.com, it has many examples of html, but my my best advice would be to go "hands-on" with it by either downloading mozilla, like i mentioned in a previous post or to try some basic coding by hand using notepad after you learn the basics from the site i gave you. Also try googling for "HTML tutorial" (without the quotes). Hope this helped :DQuote:

Would I have any use for a MySQL database? I can't really think of anything...
Oh, also, I need a good idea for a web site... I'm fresh out of ideas, but I want to make something.
MySQL databses are used to power forums like this one and some other PHP scripts like autmated news systems...Quote:

Ok, i got myself a new host for my website, but i dont want to upload my files all over since i have dial-up 56k. So is there any way i can directly download from one webhost to another?
Ok, I need a huge web host, that can host a bunch of files. I want to host PSX ISOs, by the way, so it would be nice if the webhost allowed lots of space and bandwidth.
Thanks in advance,
