Read this shit to appreciate the work I have dun:

:bed:
It was an interesting read. It's cool to learn what goes into populating those GB boards. Always been interested in SMD soldering, but the opportunity to do it never arose. I was always doing through-hole soldering. I do have a heatgun, but it's not nearly as nice as the setup you have.
I can't wait to start my next board printing! It is probably going to be a z80 developers board due to popular demand, but either way I cannot wait. I also need the income.
No and yes. The gameboy does indeed use a variation of the z80 processor; however, it is modified with extra and fewer opcodes. Not only does it include a built-in synth, but it has a (poorly made) built in RS232 communication and special registers. The board I am making will support only the original z80.
As much fun and useful as it would be to make a board surrounding the gbz80, I think someone already had one in the works. I would like to attempt to add USB to the gameboy. The reason I said poorly made is because there are no timers or interrupts to ensure data communication goes well. They made it to simply 'wait' a certain amount of time and assume it went well.
I wish I had suggested an 8086 dev board rather than the z80. People just got excited and I had to continue with it. I actually own a wonderful text book on BASIC 7.0 which would run on the 8086...but now I have to settle for BASIC 4.something.

OH RAY IS HERE
STAY, I HAVE A QUESTION
You did play Gekkou no Carnevale, no? If so, did you manage to get it running on Win7 by any chance, or did you play on XP? I mean, if you can remember such details. Because the bloody thing does not function on 7, and I'd rather not install a virtual XP just for a VN, so I'm just wondering.
I ran it on my XP machine.
I am the most helpful.
Well you did help in a way. I just wanted to confirm if it really was incompatible with XP (as the getchu site suggested) and you didn't use some black magic to get it working on 7. So thanks. VIRTUAL MACHINE IT IS
I mean, incompatible with 7. I can't even be arsed to take the 2 seconds to edit that post.
Wow, for the first time in a week my PSN friends list isn't packed with people playing GTAV.
I can't believe how many of you have beaten it already, granted not doing everything in the game yet but wowzers.
Yeah my roommate beat the main story in 4 days or something. Of course he doesn't have to work. So he was playing non-stop. I'm only about 44% complete so far myself. Though I tend to do lot of the side mission stuff and kinda leave the main story quests at the wayside.
The real fun is coming when Rockstar releases GTA Online though. It's going to be so much fun running around with a bunch of buddies as a crew and doing heists and creating general mayhem. :D
Hey Tass, you should add me(beelzebub06660) on PSN man.
Ditto.
Oh well, plenty of time to hit 50 before 2014. I SHALL PREVAIL.
