I don't have a blazing fast connection and it doesn't take all that long to get these updates really.
Back when I had my old slow connection it would take forever, it just wasn't viable to have a bunch of XB1 games on that slow speed even if I didn't bother with online play :shrug:
It can be annoying if there's a bunch of huge downloads all at once though.
