as opposed things that actually look cute. Of course 'cuteness' is a subjective term. There are animals that are popular simply cause they have been labeled as cute. Usually things with fur, like cats. I for one love cats, am allergic to cats and have a cat.
It's my favorite domestic animal. And also I think they look cute.

Some people might disagree, saying snakes melts their hearts.
Its just more of a social norm to say cats are cute, opposed to snakes.

Nothing I said was negatively loaded, and I certainly was not 'dissing' you for having a snake :P
Its just not everyday I see people talk about snakes as pets, mostly cause their illegal to have here. But some do anyway, like I said. Mostly girls :P

And I don't mean my posts to come off as defensive, if they did. I was simply unsure if I was understanding your post correctly, and sought clarification.

I think my snake is cute, but I certainly don't think they're all cute. I find them all to be interesting, yes, but adorable? No.

It's much easier to me to name animals that I don't like rather than those that I do. I pretty much love them all. ^^;;;
