Million Dollar baby, I really enjoyed it, particularly how it completely shifted genre from a standard boxing underdog story to something different although it is easy to criticise Maggie for too much of a woobie

I just finished watching it, for a relatively short film it really drags on until the last 10 minutes were we learn the entire plot of the film.

Cars 2 - Was really, really, meh. The 3D was pretty good tho.
Transformers 3 - Saw it with a group of people, didn't see the second one, didn't have a choice on this one. Was so long and boring and stupid and I hated it.
Fubar - Mocumentery about Canadian metal heads. Very enjoyable. There is also a sequel that I need to watch.

Watched Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last night. It was a fun watch, especially after watching part of Your Highness (terrible movie, I didn't even get halfway).

I wouldn't say I was expecting it to be bad, but I did go in with at least semi-realistic expectations, you've gotta do at least that much or it'll end in disappointment.

That being said, the movie did exceed my expectations.

I don't expect much out of modern movies. Comic movies are usually the closest thing I get to an action movie anymore.

I expect a lot out of the new Conan, when it comes out. Arnold bias. :wacko:
With Jason Momoa playing the role, I'm willing to be more forgiving. I thought he did a great job in SG-Atlantis.
