Just read book one and two of Legions of fire triology (babylon 5) and then I got message from amazon that told me I had to wait 6 more weeks before I would get the last book :gunner:
I am currently reading David Gemmells Lord of the Silver Arrow. only 3 more of Gemmells books until I've read them all so far.

I recently read Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini.
I just finished Angels and Demons by Dan Brown <--- rawks.

The Forever series... pretty damn good.
The Forever War - premise: humans have discovered interstellar travel. In doing so, one of our probes is mysteriously destroyed and we discover aliens. Now we must strike their homeworld before they strike ours. The Elite Conscription Act enlists everyone with 150+ IQ from around the world into a space army to go battle those aliens. However, the book details the biggest struggle of one soldier: time. Because of relativity, the marines find themselves in the past of a future they just left. Really great book.
Forever Free - Continuation of the above story. *SPOILERS for the above* Years later, the soldier is on the experimental planet set aside for hetero people who still have sex. But, being one of the last of the Forever War ex-soldiers, he can't get the idea that the new rulers of Earth(essentially massive clones called Man. They are technically human, but... no individuals) are going to keep this ice planet experiment going forever. So how to fix it? Put relativity on your side and travel to the future to escape the present, of course!
and finally,
Forever Peace - While not really connected to the above two books, it details the Earth in a time when wars are fought with "soldierboys", mechanical soldiers/robots controlled from miles away by a group mind of 5 men and 5 women. The book details the travel of one of these men as he discovers something thats supposed to do something else... if you can't tell, I'm not exactly done with this book yet >_>
I just read all of the dragonlance and forgotten realms books. That was within the past two months mind you. :-)
i have just started reading the narnia series. i have been wanting to read them for ages and i finaly got it off my friend. it is really interesting so far and a really easy read which is good for me :D. i also love how they use the old style language! hehehe "She is rather Queer" man it sounds funny. imature? i know. but it still amuses me.
I've only read the Da Vinci Code for school. It got me this AR Goal thing.
Book 11 of the Whell of TIme
Since the movie is about to come out, i went out and got the whole C.S Lewis collection. I already read it in highschool, but i forgot some of it.
Tha Art of War by Sun Tzu.
"King of Foxes" by Raymond E. Fiest
The last book that i read was America The Book. If you have not read this yet, run out and get it! It is extreamly entertaining
Moved to the hangout, what with the post restrictions and spam which will no doubt materialise.
harry pot head
Well a good book was the Ender Series, Enders game and Enders Shadow were two of my favorite books, Orson Scott Card. great writer.
Global Ecology in human perspective by Charles H. Southwick. Now I just have to write an 10 page essay about the book.
old collection of reader digests
Furuba volumes 11 and 12, and Full Moon volume 4. Actually, not much else. I think I prefer Neal Stephenson's earlier works (especially the cyberpunk ones - Diamond Age, anyone?) to the Baroque Cycle so far, actually. I'm not sure I'll finish Quicksilver.
I think I'll re-read Jurassic Park...
Nearly finished with King of Foxes so i'll be starting Exile's Return sometime in a next week or so.
Finished Lt den rtte komma in last night... Haven't read anything in months, and going through this really makes me wonder why on earth not. No game or movie is ever this good...
Rymdtecknaren (Space artist, loose translation) - Eugen Semitjov
Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman. Had this book signed for ages before I started reading it. I wonder why I didn't start to read it sooner :)
Read the first Resident Evil book, got bored halfway through the second...
ReRead the Elenium by David Eddings
The Overcoat, by Gogol. Strange story. Plus, started reading The Shining from Stephen King. Also, finished reading The Goat-skin, by Honor de Balzac.
A couple of the Vesper Holly adventures, by Lloyd Alexander. Brilliant author, I say!
The Painter Knight, Fiona Patton
Legacy of Prometheus, Eric Kotani and John Maddox Roberts
The latter's a reread, but I hadn't read it in years, and I had forgotten quite a bit about it. The former was a moderately interesting story, crossing between the main character's perspective in the present (of the story) as an old man, and his recollections of the past. As well, I've just purchased a book I've been intending to read for quite some time, and stated as much repeatedly here: The Count of Monte Cristo, by Alexandre Dumas, pre.
Read The magicians nephew, The lion the witch and the wardrobe, the horse and his boy, and prince caspian. All on my cellphone. I found a java based cellphone book reader for e-books and text files. Pretty cool. It works on my 6220 all you need is some way to transfer the app to your cellphone and have java on your phone. You compile the app with the books you want inside it and then transfer.
Can get it from : http://tequilacat.nm.ru///download/ and there is an English help page at http://tequilacat.nm.ru///help.html cos it's a russian site.
Huh?... whats with my sig pic?
I've been reading lots of comics, because with all the study my mind can't really cope with too much thought. So I've read Books 1 and 2 of Age of Apocalypse, which were great. It's really obvious why this is a fan-favourite storyline. Also read Essential X-Men Vol. 2, which was basically the original Phoenix saga. Newb stuff, but I am comic newb.
Last book I read was Babel-17 by Samuel Delany. It was a really great book.
The silent war- Ben Bova. The third book in the asteroid wars triology.
Last books ive read are:
The whole Hitchhiker's trilogy
The Riftwar Saga
:sa-P:
Cast Spell > Life 2
My parents decided to do some cleaning, which meant four full boxes of books and two of National Geographics circa 1970's went to be sold. Of course, being who I am, I..."liberated" a few dozen, including a fairly large collection of Piers Anthony. Right now I'm reading The Wind Singer, by William Nicholson, but I'll have a good time for quite a while.
I ♥ Half Price Books
Last stuff I read was probably some Vampire the Masquerade clan novel. Assamite, I think.
Also, a short story by Lovecraft, called The Whisperer in Darkness. Bizarre and shocking, truly excellent stuff.
And finally, lots of stuff from Edgar Allan Poe. I won't list all of it, I'll just mention that the story called Ligeia was probably what I liked most.
