The 24 hour American news channels are beyond awful. Fox is obviously trash, MSNBC is literally the exact same thing from a left wing perspective, and CNN is still pretty sub par but sort of occasionally just about watchable if you're desperate enough. Literally the only decent news channel I could find was an unlisted one that cycled through Al Jazeera, NHK and other foreign news outlets for a couple of hours a day.
