Yeah, since I can't read Japanese. I can't really tell how accurate WD's translations actually are compared to their original Japanese counterparts. Though having played quite a few WD releases at their time of release. I do have a fair bit of nostalgia attached to them. I don't know how old you are. Though I'm sure if I were younger and not played the original Sega CD releases of Lunar 1 & 2 when they were released. I'm sure I'd be pretty underwhelmed myself. Deviating somewhat from the original doesn't bother me, as direct translations are. . . well, NES games. It's all the out-of-place meme inserts that destroy the experience for me. Exile Wicked Phenomenon had an MST3K reference. That's part awesome, seeing how much I loved MST3K as a kid. . . but it's also awful, because WHY THE HELL WOULD SOMEBODY IN 12 CENTURY BAGHDAD BE WATCHING MST3K?! I was so stoked for the start of this season. We made a lot of changes in the off-season that all make us better on paper. But we can't seem to win anything right now. :( It's really infuriating. I still watch out to support and because I generally just like watching hockey, but it's hard to get too excited about the games anymore. I've even stopped wearing my Oilers hat around town lately.
