Bought - got it for $50 :]
SO how do games and such work on that thing?
16GB internal, correct?
Bluetooth connection? USB-memory mounting? pro duo slot?
You'll be hacking the firmware, right?
This sounds helpful.
5 seconds is ALL? Last I checked it was much more complicated than that. :/ Good for you. :wacko:Quote:
That’s it, I said 3 steps :) Welcome to the world of Custom Firmwares. There’s no additional step required to install the Pro CFW. However, every time you reboot your console, you will have to reactivate ProCFW, which is done by running the Fast Recovery tool from your PSP’s Game menu, and takes literally 5 seconds.
As I said last night, I may be converting PSX games to PSP again. Feel free to make requests once I get started again.
It already has quite a few games on it:
Samauri Shodown
Some Japanese Game
Angry Birds
Sega Genesis Collection
Capcom Classics Collection Remixed
Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded
Final Fantasy IX
Tekken II
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max
Go! Puzzle
Batman Arkham Asylum
Assassin's Creed Bloodlines
Street Fighter Alpha
I'm wondering if I sign into my own PS Store account, if those games will disappear...
Also, if I understand correctly, http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?59502 means I don't even need CFW?? o_O
I need to do some studying :P
I wish I had I psp, but my GBA SP is fine too.
....I gone an killed the HO.
I was studying :P
Oh PSPGo.
Wouldn't wipe my arse on one let alone pay $50 for one.
I wouldn't mind a PSPGO, just to have one. But I have two PSP1001s sitting here that are collecting dust, so it'd probably be a waste.
Also, when it comes to signing games there's been improvements since the above mentioned thread was made. Now there are a lot less constraints when it comes to the size of the ISO your attempting to sign.
:lol
The idea behind the system was cool. Sony's whole downloading games from the store to it idea was stupid.
Are they 100% hacked these days, therefore you can pirate every game for it? Regardless of it being over 1GB? If so then it'd probably be pretty good, actually.
When you download a game from the PSN store they all come as eboots. All signing does is convert an ISO to an eboot and signs it so you can use it on OFW. There used to be size constraints when using the old signing methods. IE the ISO had to be no larger than about 750MB. There's been a lot of improvements since then. Now you can sign ISOs as large as 1.3GB. If you have an account at Bitgamer I can send you a link to an up to date tutorial.
I tried recovering my details for bitGAMER, but I never received the email to reset my password. I CAN'T LOGIN. :fist:
This is kind of where every company is heading. I would say that half of all games are purchase in-store, the other half are digital download and the half that are purchasable in-store can also be downloaded.
Just look at steam. I would say they are pretty successful.
Of course, I prefer physical copy over DLC ANY day.
Profound Darkness
Hm, I wonder what "entry-level computer" means? ...*click*
