I've recently started watching a fan-made webseries known as "Star Trek Continues". Basically it is about trying to finish the 5 year mission of the original Enterprise, since the original Star Trek ended before the Enterprise ever truly finished that 5 year mission. Honestly i've been amazed at the very very high quality of Star Trek Continues. The episodes are done in 720p, and they paid great attention to detail and the stories for each episode. Each episode truly feels like it could've been part of the original show. I can very highly recommend watching Star Trek Continues if you loved the original Star Trek.
