How about parasite eve or dino crisis
Didn't Gamesradar cover this topic a while ago? No matter. I would really love a Smugglers Run sequel or Star Wars: Republic Commando sequel. Apparently there are rumors of the later though... Or maybe some HD remakes of the Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series.
I want to see another Knights of the Round game. That was such a kickass beat 'em up game.
I also want to see another Karnov and another Crystalis.
The sequel I want the most though is another Chrono game.
Yeah legend of dragon would be awesome if remastered! especially the item storage space and the character switch!
Oh and I want a remastered Shadow of The Colossus (PS2) game that game has nice dark atmosphere into it, the layout was epic and the graphics was not bad at all.
Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light
Want to see more FF VII, call me a fanboy I don't care. VII had a better story than half the junk I saw on any other FF title with characters that have stood the test of time. Screw that Crisis Core, I pretty much chucked it when I nearly beat it in weekend, and while I never played the Vincent spin-off I'm still not impressed. Honestly with Halo 1 supposively being remade how many similar fans would pay their favorite, hard-earned dollars to see Cloud and Sephiroth in 1080p?! More so, I do want a more in-depth story, like how the turks were formed, sephiroth's child-hood (in a sense) plus those mini-games at the casino were mindlessly fun time-consumers. A close second and another favorite is FF III. Definitly Ehrgeiz, bushido blade as well. and for all that holy in this world let us see more of platform 2D castlevania games! SOTN was amazing! Sure GBA and such gave us a few more games to play but their games were limited. Gimmie 1080p graphics and easily 200+ hours of gameplay, puzzles, secret walls, familars, I want the whole package dammit.... Final fight, double dragon, TMNT the arcade game, simpsons arcade game, sunset riders lets bring back those quarter-munching video games of old time that I played religously and loved ffs.
(Oh, and borderlands 3....... but lemme get to write in some of the scripts and NPC dialogue!)
Lufia, definitly. More Berserk like how DC did would be pretty epic as well (hell, would settle for more of the anime...) and another gungrave, shot while I'm on anime themed video games, how about a hellsing game? Yeah, I never heard one good review about anything claiming to be a XENOGEARS continuation and I utterly loved that game (played it until I scratched it beyond repair). Another star wars battlefront (loved that jedi on sith action in BF2), more FPS hotness that is/was goldeneye64 and PD64, and in all serious while I'm nostalgic over nintendo make more SNES zelda games (same graphics, more story, more puzzles, more bosses, more items, more weapons, gimmie some mounts), and practically every other 2D capcom beat em' up game remade!
The King of Dragons. Also on SNES & an arcade cabinet
Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom
Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara. Both arcade & an import compilation disc on the Saturn
Dungeon Magic/Light Bringer: This ones from Taito. Arcade & Taito Legends 2(PS2, PC, & X-Box)
Magic Sword: Heroic Fantasy. Arcade & SNES. Not really a beat em up, but very much similar anyway.
None of these are related to Knights of the Rounds, except The King of Dragons pretty much uses the same engine, and the D&D games use a seemingly amped up version of that engine. DM/LB just has that same kind of role-playing brawler thing going on. Could have mentioned Gaiapolis too, but it's top down and has a totally different feel, probably never left arcades.
Vagrant Story: starting from where Ashley Departs would be awesome
SMT Nocturne: folowing from each diferent ending where the new MC has to beat the old one in a newly build world maintaing that dark atmosphere
Legend of Dragoon: Remake or even Sequel
and a not so old (Soul Nomad and the world eaters) but not in tactics but rpg with a engine like the one from Shadow Hearts would be interesting
also Shadow Hearts i think there are 3 SH, SH Covenant and SH The New Wolrd i think it was
needs shenmue 3
I really enjoy Alundra 2 and it's up there in my favourites. Although it wasn't a true sequel (I've heard, as I haven't played much of Alundra) it had the most awesome atmosphere.
and Tomba 2 exists, which I found pretty fun (I've gotten stuck somewhere though, so I'll need to start it again).
Game that needs a sequel: Grim Fandango
Deception series, thought it needs a better story.

Anyway, I was thinking earlier about this thread and was going to say something about Arc The Lad but then I remembered that the franchise was already damaged beyond repair with the ps2 installments.
like i said there needs to be a sequal to the arcade game alien vs predator an excellent beat em' up that needs a sequal until then i got MAME on my hands and the game itself
Probably the closest you'll get is The Punisher, and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, both also by Capcom, with limited gun usage.
Just for the heck of it, I might also recommend Denjin Makai and Gaurdians/Denjin Makai 2. Oh, and Night Slashers, it's like Castlevania meets brawler.
