Space marines are stupid. I would be happy to give another Bioware game a chance, but Mass Effect fails to please me aesthetically.

I find it amusing, on occasion, that I'll stop in the middle of a battle to stuff my face with some grass. I bet that just tastes lovely. :wacko:

Ugh. I want to complete everything so badly, but having to play through it that many times will probably kill me. It's a lovely game, but extreme repetition also does not please Milady.

I finally got my Kris Blade to +5 though. Thank you, strangely voiced talking crow. :wacko:

Mediocre pop-rock at best. Whiny lead singer married to Chantal Kreviazuk and likes to sing about how life can be hard sometimes, but keep your head up kid, that kind of stuff. Honestly, nothing that stands out as an "oh-my-God-you-have-to-own-this-album," just the kind of trite crap that comprises mainstream music.

It's strange really, I know they're huge in Canada and pretty well known in the US but all that sort of North American post-grunge stuff completely flies under the radar over here. Unless it's Nickelback, for some inexplicable reason.

Of course the upside of this is that Creed have always been about as popular as a wet fart around these parts.

I've played BG, and I've heard enough horror stories to stay as far away from that as I possible can. :wacko:

I think they were trying to go with unsettling. But I think the old hag talking about her son, that big creepy silent guy who lumbers about 5-3, or the sea of blood filled with undead babies have considerably higher ratings on the scale of creepy shit.

I'm not sure I'd say "huge". They're certainly well known but I don't think they've been an especially popular group since the mid to late 90's. Their fame is very much on the slide. And while it's hard to find a canadian music fan that isn't familiar with them, it's not like they're that much more popular than the average musician that has gotten a somewhat decent amount of airplay. And a major reason why they're known is because, much like herpes, they keep coming back once in a while just when you think you're rid of them.

Yes, but you guys have to put up with U2, Blur during their down moments, and Oasis. I think it's a fairly even setup.

I can't stop staring at that sprung page.
