BACON! Made of soy. :]
It's not bacon if it's not made of BACON. :low:
Time to turn off. The phone. Getting ready for takeoff. Yay.
Blah, if I hadn't sold my network adapter for PS2, I'd have had a use for both of Cosmic's IDE hard drives. :P
I need to clean this bass. It's pretty gross. But it's going to cost money yo really clean it to any acceptable degree.
Gotta soak the strings in denatured alcohol (which I have to buy), gotta eventually get new strings (obviously), and gotta wipe this shit down with a cotton cloth and a toothbrush (for the frets).
Sucks. At least it's a decent looking guitar. A Fender Squier Precision Bass.
How does it get so dirty?
Bah, no trainer for Rallisport Challenge 2. I just wanted to unlock all of the cars. :lol
My friend (the actual owner) has had it in the guitar bag for probably three years. Here in Washington, this is a bad thing. We have naturally more humid air due to being so close to the ocean. It has dust stuck to it from being in storage so long and the pickups and bridge have dust and gunk on them that I need to use a toothbrush on because a rag wouldn't lift it up.
He has an guitar that he plays more often, but he basically has the bass just to have the bass. Once I get a little more proficient with it and have restrung it and cleaned the FUCK out of it, I'm gonna see if he'll give it to me. Getting a bass as payment for maintenance of a bass is a pretty good deal.
It's not like it's a rare find or anything. It's a Precision Bass. Sold direct through Fender brand new, it's like $250.
That would be a good deal. And I know how tough it can be to clean things with a toothbrush, trust me, I refurbish gameboys. :P
That shit can be Na-sty.
Ford RS200.
a combination of lurking and severe boredom has me posting here.
