Eh. If it's just a hi, I can see it happening; I'm no exception. It's not you, it's just the distinction between the value placed in pleasantries versus content. If it's just a hello, outside of verbal communication, I'm less likely to respond seriously.

Actually, it's not even that. It's a pre-beta release candidate, but it's actually more polished and content-driven than most release games. Plus, they have awesome taste in races for a 4X game. An entire empire made up of clones of one narcissistic/eccentric/crazy multi-billionare? A diplomatic, friendly race of spacefaring, single-celled amoebae? Terraforming robots gone Saberhagen Berzerker? Yes, please.

That... actually sounds interesting. I may have to commence the Googling and see if it sounds like something I would play. ^_^
