Definitely happens. I moved a lot of stuff both ways this last week. I actually sold a lot of anime, which is pretty unusual for me. Anime is usually something that takes longer to sell. I sold about $280 of anime this last week alone, an all-time high.Quote:

Lots are haphazard tbh. Sometimes they got for too little but sometimes they end up going for more than they should for the convenience (assuming the games are related, though I have seen some unrelated game lots go for too much when all the games are REALLY sought after). It depends on the kind of people bidding on it I suppose.
Pretty much. I plan on doing two lots of "randoms" and include a few popular titles in each lot to help move the shittier games (sports titles mostly), then list the DW games separately, then a lot of boxed games and empty boxes. If I sell 'em I sell 'em, if not I'll combine whatever is left into one lot and see what it goes for. They're just taking up space now, and nothing is uncommon enough to bother holding on to.Quote:

If I get $40 for something instead of $50 then I'm fine with that, but if I get $20 for something instead of $50 then I'd be pretty pissed. I never understood some of those BIN prices, even though I know I'm at fault for overspending sometimes. For example, there's someone who wants $150 for a CIB copy of Adventure Island 3 right now. Well sometimes people just have really insane BINs or Amazon listings and hope to get lucky. I've spoke with a couple people about that. There are also a couple of other cases, one is someone is showing off something rare that they own, and would obviously take the retarded price they are asking for it. The other is acting like they are trying to sell it because their significant other wants them to sell stuff, knowing full well it likely won't sell for that price.
Magic Knight Rayearth is really bad right now but I'm trying to be patient on it. Mainly because it's not a good game, it's just somewhat rare (under 10k copies iirc).

I don't have actual print run data but I know the releases were cancelled after that one so it's possible it was VERY small. I actually have two sets like that right now. I turned down a $200 for one recently because I'm admittedly a jackass.
I suppose that isn't bad either. I know of a few amazon stores that overprice anything remotely valuable and OOP and do most of their actual sales for cheap commons.
