I'm gonna try my best :o
Also, Emery
Emery indeed. We'll finally win the Europa League. :winner:
It's sort of funny. I went from thinking Arteta would be an insane decision to sorta being disappointed by the actual appointment of someone of wasn't him. I miss his lego hair.
Edit: atleast the club will be somewhat less Barcelonish this way, eh.
WE MADE IT ELMY! :winner:
THANKS RAMOS, THANKS BALE AND BIG THANKS TO KARIUS (poor guy :/)!
3 in a row, 4th in 5 years.. this is madness!!
Yeah, I'm not sure about Emery to be honest, he is not that great. He was known here for being unable to defeat any big teams, it was always a draw at best no matter what team he managed..
^____________________________^ :winner:
That there Bale did score good goal yesh. :chinese: Sometimes I sort of miss him being the best at not winning Premier League games, but that's besides the point here, I think.
Maaaan, Ramos sure knows how to hog the spot light. Although I guess Karius outdid him on that count, to be fair. I'm somewhat amused by the concussion story now. "Aye, the way he played something must've obviously been wrong with his brain." Less amused by Liverpool and Egyptian fans being awful, but that's my bad for reading football related news, I suppose.
It... really is madness. In that kind of ridiculous manner, where you just shrug and assume it's going to be this way forever.
Feelings on Zidane's resignation? Any favourites amongst the candidates? I heard about this promising French bloke who is apparently unemployed...
Could he draw away games against big teams? If so, GOOD ENOUGH I SAY. In Arsenal-related news, looking very ambitious with our dabbling in the transfer market thus far. :winner:
Elmdor I'm going to need you to be on during WC if at all possible sir.
Drugs? That is the plan, my man, that is the plan... :butterfly:
Edit: remember back in the day when we could have those prediction leagues and whatnot during championships because there were actually more than three people around with somewhat of an interest in footie? Ah, the glory days...
People has way too much time in their hands to fabulate plots and stuff
He can do whatever he feels he has to do, we owe him so much! I wish him the best in whatever he does. I have the feeling the National French team will soon have a new manager...
As for who is going to lead us, I have no preferences. I mean, I like none of the candidates  particularly the one you hinted :P
That Suarez miss tho. Maybe he should have bit the ball. https://i.imgur.com/0btR08J.png
Wow, what a match that was between Spain and Portugal. So much drama, hard fought.
It was a good match, pretty good considering both national teams were debuting in this WC. Cristiano is a beast who leaves no room for defensive mistakes like we had.
He was great. The game was so swingy. I remember thinking Spain pretty much had it late but then he pinched it. That free kick was amazing, but felt like a mistake from the Spanish keeper to let it in.
Full expect Spain and Portugal to easily advance from that group. Probably coming down to goal differential for who wins it. Hard to see Iran and Morocco providing much resistance.
So surprising to see France not living up to expectations so far.
Cookie you might need to suit up for Spain, they need a goal. :pwacko:
Kinda uninspiring matches today tbh.
opmgomgogamoamgom CROAAAATIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Modric scored a bootyful goal :O
I honestly don't know what is Argentina doing. People say Messi can't do everything but the way I see it, he should perhaps start doing something, anything, it he wants to go futher in this WC. I mean, Cristiano is clearly doing it
Rancid play from this German team, don't deserve to go through so w/e.
Fucking hell this WC. This is madness and I don't like it :(
At least the Elmys lads went though.
Spain are in the easy bracket. :D
Looks like England played for 2nd place in their group hoping for an easier route to the final.
ALLEZ LES BLEUS!!
Seriously, if someone was expecting Messi to do something relevant in this WC it's because they don't know Messi.
Wild games today. Love it.
Superb goals too :O
Cavani's second was brilliant imo.
Golovin tsk tsk you hesitated, Cavani doesn't hesitate.
Not sure what the view of Isco is in Spain, but I rather like him.
Pique lost his mind. Don't think it was deliberate but you can't have your arm up like that and get away with it.
Oh fuck, what happened Spain? :(
Lacked creativity in attack sadly. Hope Russia goes out soon.
We played terribly bad, and our strikers did absolutly nothing. I don't like any of them.
The real culprit of this fiasco is our FA chief firing Lopetegui 2 days before our debut. Rubiales, idiot, go home!
Isco is appreciated here, much more than I think he deserves, he slows down the team play way too much for my taste.
At last we still have Croatia and I hope England qualifies.
Columbia are the dirtiest most cynical football team since the Leeds United team of the early 70s.
Edit:
Seems weird to be on the winning end of a penalty shootout for once...
Credit to @MonchisMen on twitter for this joke
English football pundits for the last 15 years: “oy lotta tiki taka bollocks nancying round the pitch innit?!?” Now they have enough players to possess for more than 3 seconds: “[thoughtful drag of pipe] mmm yes quite a lot technical talent in the squad, looks like a proper team”
Russia no more makes me extremely happy :D
I wish the final were England v Croatia :(
Man, Burnley are such cunts sometimes.
Ugh, Scandinavians - am I right, Cookies?
