k done
Lately been reading Wheel of Time series, and also read this short book Mice and Men
Its a good series but it takes way too long for the books to come out, also there are way too many plot threads, means not that much happens to each character in each book, from path of daggers to knife of dreams, perrin was on a rescue mision ...
anyway, brilliant series, no matter how I complain
I've read the first couple of pages of Terry Pratchetts latest, seems interesting.
My reading of novels has dwindled somewhat recently as I simply do not have the time what with work and suchlike.
I've been doing so much else that I really havn't gotten time to read, but one book I'm into now is Ender's Game. Yes, my interest for this has come from the release of Advent Rising, but sadly I haven't gotten to play that yet. I am hoping to continue with teh rest of teh books in the series, but God only knows how much longer I can take these books out from the library. Oh wait, nevermind, November 17th. Now to see if I can renew them again... One other sci-fi book I recommend is "The Stars My Destination". by Alfred Bester. I've read it once before, but I'm planning to go at it again soon.
I've read a few or Orson cards books including Enders game. Pretty good
Finished reading two Jill Mansell's. The One You Really Want and Two's Company. I'm turning into a soppy dumb blonde. Must save myself soon.
Well, soppy dumb blonde ain't so bad if you have the boobs to match. :P
I read the Hangout. Not that many characters, and the plot really leads nowhere. I'm confused. But for other reasons. :P
I don't.Quote:

Eragon agian.
Some collection of stories written by Poe. Great stuff.
I especially liked "A Descent into the Maelstrm" and "The Pit and the Pendulum".
I'm currently reading a small collection of short stories by H. P. Lovecraft. I am also attempting to read all of the Discworld novels in order and have made my way up to "Soul Music".
Read the Abyss by Michael Crichton a while back ... was exactly like the movie, cos apparently the movie and book were written at the same time by Michael crichton or summin.
By the way Crichton wrote jurassic park , the sphere etc...
Reading The Inscrutable Americans by Anurag Mathur. Seems tolerable till now, another sad story of a besotted Indian student in America.
Im reading those harry potter books now, and I like em. Entertainment :)
Potty's great. Can't wait for the movie to come out.
yeah should be good...
Heard that after rowlings written the last one shes gonna start a new series about the adult harry potter or summin... i think
Last thing I read was A Perfect Spy, by John leCarre. I'm on an old book kick.
Currently reading XPD by Len Deighton,
Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth,
Deadpool, the marvel comic
Litte Drummer Girl, again by leCarre.
Last Good Book I read (capital letters deliberately included) was The God of Small Things, by Arundhati Roy.
Before that it was Memoirs of a Geisha.
Hey, there's a movie of that coming out. Who's excited?
Nah, me neither.
Woah. Tennessee Williams overdose. How're you finding The Glass Menagerie? I liked it more than Streetcar, although I LOVED the stage direction in Streetcar. All that stuff about how the trumpets ought to sound made me laugh. For a notation, I thought Streetcar was really atmospheric.Quote:

Read:- I know you got soul by Jeremy Clarkson.
Curently reading:
Terry Pratchet: Going Postal
The river cottage year book
Akira - Katsuhiro Otomo Volume 1
And some Azumaga spin off, but I do not know the name In English. (I can't read it really, I just like looking at the pictures.)
Also some Japanese magazines. They read from right-to-left of course, not left-to-right like normal folk. Again, the pictures are the main atraction.
I'm still looking for those Myst books that were mentioned by Ciel. I'm starting to doubt they were released in England.
Just did a quick search. They seem to still be sold separately, but I just found a three-in-one book. And they even made French and German versions. I'm rather surprised, myself. :)
Hey Xena new pic... nice
anyway
reading the Catteni series by Anne Mcaffrey
also rereading Knife of dreams by Robert Jordan
i have read resident evil apocalypse and it is a great book
I just read like...four Xanth novels. Read the Wiki on Piers Anthony afterwards, and now I'm not sure I'll ever look at the guy the same way again. Check out the controversy entry and you'll see what I mean. I never saw any of that in his books before, but I'll be damned if it's not become apparent since I read that. @_@
i've just finished "la asesina de lady di" (the assassin of lady di/lady di's assassin) (please, correct me, which one sounds better?)
it's a novel written by an argentinian author, who is considered to be *the* author that reflects the actual argentinian pop culture.
The story is about a teenager that does *many* _ things in order to have a baby with ricky martin... :lol
Hey, just read two david gemmel books, not big but were good. they were ravenheart and deathwalker, good books, and now im reading god emporer of dune...seems pretty good so far.
i just finished reading The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne for my english class. i hate books that have hard to read language, but the ending was decent.
Too busy wiv the games man. :REALcool:

I am reading Honoured Enemy by Raymond E Fiest and some other bloke.
THE ATLANTEAN ORIGIN OF THE SEVEN SACRAMENTS
Its just big A jigsaw puzzle how everything connects with the bible and other text to unlock cyber key power and meet starscream and the decepicon to save the universe.
I've just finished a clockwork orange. i liked it, but i found it difficult because of the "nadsat-language" the author uses
David Icke - And the truth shall set you free!
John Pilger - The new rulers of the world
excellent books.
Technically, I'm not sure I'm actually reading these as much as culling needed information out of specific sections, but:
Comprehensive Surgical Management of Congenital Heart Disease, Richard A. Jonas
Paediatric Cardiology, (lotsa people)
Color Atlas of Congenital Heart Surgery, S. Bert Litwin.
You can almost tell I'm leaning towards majoring in Aerospace Engineering, no? ;)
