About Steins;Gate---I'd say it starts off kinda slow IMO, and it took me awhile just to get used to the atmosphere of the show. But (assuming you have read the summary of the anime) once main character starts messing with time, shit gets epic.

It had its moments. I thought DTnK was darker and more pessimistic/nihilistic in delivery, but Psycho Pass has some really brutal moments where it showcases it's not afraid to push the boundaries and off some people.

One of the best damn shows I've seen, honestly. I liked the comedic banter early on, but didn't know if it could keep my interest. Then that paradigm shift midway through where the writers make shit serious. I'm seldom that gripped by a show; I think I watched like 7 episodes back-to-back, and that's not something I can usually do.
