I bought a Kodak Easyshare C653 today. Seems like a pretty damn nice camera for a resonable price.
I also picked up a 1GB SD card for $20. Walmart has them on sale.

Job security is one thing I seemingly don't have to worry about. Our original contract was for three months, but they're thinking of extending it, if not outright hiring us on. We processed 7.5 million images on Wednesday, and that's apparently impressive enough to the higher-ups that they're reconsidering outsourcing to like...Poland, or wherever they were considering outsourcing the work.

Y'know, while I will complain about how tedious the work is, I am grateful for it. I need work right now, and it beats say, flipping burgers or something along those lines.
